Greetings and Salutations
Hello my name is Edward but please call me Ed. I'm 31 father of 2 and a fan/gamer that plays primarily AD&D 1E/2E/2.5E essentially anything older than 3rd edition is good by me. I'd tried OD&D a couple times and it was pretty fun but very much basic. I've only ever played Fallout pen & paper and battletech for other RPG games. I'm interested in playing and learning new games as well as playing the old school games I love as well as modules and settings I've never been in such as Ravenloft, Greyhawk, Planescape, Forgotten Realms, Dark Sun, Al-Qadim, Spelljammer, and some others. I've been playing 2nd edition since about 1992 not so much in person anymore as my friends don't have high interests in it much anymore. I do have a couple games I play on Google+ in roll20.net and using google hangouts. Other than that I've only played 2 play by post games and looking to get into one or two more.

Hey Ed!
Really glad you made it over from G+.
I'm sure you'll find a game. It's a fantastic group of guys here!
Be well,

This is a game about killing things and taking their stuff so you can become more powerful in order to kill bigger things and take even better stuff.
Re: Greetings and Salutations
Welcome, Ed! That's quite a "resume" there!

Re: Greetings and Salutations
Dark Sun ... I've always kinda wanted to play it but the psionics scared me away.

Someone does Dark Sun and I'm in! Psionics are just another form of magic. Easy peasey.
Oh, and welcome Ed!
Someone should start a new game for all these new visitors! Alathan?

Re: Greetings and Salutations
Thank you all for the welcomes. Just because Psionics exist doesn't mean we have to play or fight them it all depends upon the DM.

Re: Greetings and Salutations
I'd have to say thank you to Stonjuz and Zhym for having me in one of their campaigns/games. I went from nothing to a dead game to now two active games. It is nice to be doing something

I know this is a tad off topic but anyone else play chess at www.chess.com? If so we should play sometime.
