Androgost agrees. "Let us steer clear of the darkness. We can dispell our own web spell and circle around to the south as needed."

Panthera Siouxsie
sorry, must have overlooked where the Darkness was not impacting the Drow & co.
I am quite happy to scout ahead. I should be more silent and in silky, black fur, more unseen if I stealth along in the shadows. I was thinking of heading northwards, (NE through the Silence). But I can sneak about ahead of the chosen direction
I think the cavern with genies was the one I was captive in but to be honest, I don't recall much about it and followed Raffi out.
Dreary caverns are not usual dwelling places for majestic elementals like Genies. I wonder if they are bound or captive and serving under indenture? Maybe we can be rewarded for releasing them from servitude?

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
WHAT?!?
Very Late on Moonday, 17th day of Planting, 597
12th day since leaving Loftwick
Androgost (AC -6, HP 30/65, Armor 14/26) (Glowing Sword)
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 42/63) (Infravision about 2 hours remaining)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 35/53) (Slow Poison more than 5 hours)
Boff (AC 5, HP 49/61)
Hex (AC 0, HP 17/27, Armor 2/8)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 49/50, Armor 5/8) (Silence 15' Radius 1 remaining)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 18/26) (Torch)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 40/48) - (Panther!)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 17/21, Armor 4/8)
Qleceec says "Lets stay out of the darkness and hug this wall until it turns south." which I am taking to mean follow the green arrow, but Androgost suggests "Let us steer clear of the darkness. We can dispel our own web spell and circle around to the south as needed." which is heading the opposite direction (the brown arrow by the Web spell), but the group could dispel the Web with Frannie's torch. Boff nods his agreement "Aye, sounds like a plan ta me." which I guess is Androgost's plan? After this Siouxsie offers to scout ahead in a third direction the NE) (the orange arrow)
About this time the darkness the group was struggling with disappears - if that is because it was dispelled or just ran out of time is unclear.
A voice can be head from the northwest (about the black X on the map), "What are you Primers up to? I told you to take the side tunnels and here you are again. You have a death wish or something? This is the last warning that I will give you to retreat now." then there is a deep restrained laugh, "Here comes a core rumble, Aamoof!"
Actions?
Map
Grey Circle is the Silence Field
Yellow Circle is light range of Androgost's sword (if not blocked by a wall)

Panthera Siouxsie.
Ah, so I am thinking now the use of 'Primers' is a label for 'those who live on the Prime Material realm' (earth) and 'Genie-folk' (hence a blue-skinned wizardy person') being from another elemental plane.
Siouxsie bites her lip. She might contest that 'she was stabbed, shot, trussed up and robbed and had only intended to pass through these dreary tunnels all peaceable like. No need to be such mean numpties, they could have guided us amicably, blah, blah.'
Instead just a low growl.

Hex and Raffi are in the minority and do not wish to advance. So they continue to remain silent and follow the plans of the majority.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Androgst curses the unknown voice in the darkness. Eager as as always to prove himself in battle - and always burdened by others that don't feel the same way. "That voice," he whispers, "is that of the geneies and chest? Siouxsie, can you scout NE while we wait here out of sight of that...voice... for now? The web behind us can protect our flank"
Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Siouxsie
Grins a fang toothed affirmative to Androgast's request.
I will slink NE, through the narrow corridor of silence and then into the next cavern, keeping to the left side wall.

Scout and stay.
Very Late on Moonday, 17th day of Planting, 597
12th day since leaving Loftwick
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 40/48) - (Panther!)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 30/65, Armor 14/26) (Glowing Sword)

Hex (AC 0, HP 17/27, Armor 2/8)
Garrant (AC 3, HP 49/50, Armor 5/8)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 18/26) (Torch)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 17/21, Armor 4/8)
Nah Olos correctly calls back "These aren't the side tunnels? You must be real slow if we accidentally caught up to you." while Androgost asks some whispered questions. To which neither get an answer.
Siouxsie sneaks through the Silence field (which dissipates about half way through), but safely makes it to the other side trying to let her infravision to take over after exiting the sword and torch light. As she sneaks along someone north of her lights a torch (or at least the equivalent light) letting her see a far amount of the cavern that she is in. (shown in the map)
For Siouxsie only
About that time the ground begins to shake suddenly and violently. There is a deafening roar as the walls and ceiling reverberate with the force of the tremors. Dust and debris fall from the ceiling, further adding to the chaos. As the shaking continues, there is a fear of the tunnel collapsing around you. Some of the ceiling starts to fall to the ground, but alas the soon come to an end. Throughout the quake, the voice just laughs in pure enjoyment.
With you next post please include a 1d20 DEX Check to keep your footing and a +4 save vs. Petrification to avoid any damaging rocks falling on you. (Androgost and Qleceec only get +2)
A large number of rocks fall into the area with the brown X. While it would still be passable, ground movement through this area is at 1/3 speed.

Siousxie
Siouxsie: dex 16 vs [1d20]=12 10+ Save vs Petrification [1d20+4]=11+4=15
Secure on her paws to dodge any rockfalls. The Fire Giant can see me, but does he know I am not truly a panther?
You know, I am trying to think outside the box and think some alternative ploy might pay dividends.
So, actions ... she will pad across to the Fire Giant, tail up trying to give a non-threatening appearance. Arriving close by, I will stand on my rear paws and speak in Hill Giant, "Can you tell me about the fire dances to summon the Volcano deity? How do you dance?" She will do some rotating twerks.

Androgost deftly keeps to his feet and dodges the falling debris. He fumes at the voice coming through the chaos - mocking him…
