Chapter 1a: Mystery of Odlo - The chasm...then the tunnel
Re: Chapter 1a: Mystery of Odlo - The chasm...then the tunnel
Bilberta "Sure, has to be better than this old thing" (Referring to her cudgel). Bilberta will take the club and follow Wenyld down the tunnel, but will first grab Legless' bag and items along with the leather satchel.

Please update character sheets
Will Bilberta carry the new club as her weapon or keep her cudgel?
Bilberta and Wenyld grab most of Legless' items. Wenyld moves to close the eyes of her elfkin friend, but they've been dissolved by the slime. Expressing concern about the return of the slime, they crawl through the newly discovered tunnel. The intermittent cries of "help me" will be uttered by the stick left in the tiny altar room for who knows how long.
This tunnel too is dry...but much shorter than the last one. Within ten feet it opens up into another, slightly larger room (about 10'x10') with two tables. As you enter, Wenyld's torchlight sends a few of those yellowish salamanders with red eyes skittering across the walls and into the crevices of the stone walls where some of the large stones appear to be crumbling or loose. The room is lined with stone alcoves and Bilberta immediately surmises this was once an armory. It stands mostly empty now, with thick dust upon the floor and shelves, but a few dust-covered items peek out of the gloom. These include

- a couple rusty short swords in their scabbards
- two dwarven-sized suits of rusty chain mail (can be worn by dwarves or even halflings in a pinch, but due to age they confer a +2 AC bonus instead of 4)
- a longbow
- a quiver with 4 arrows
- a large battleaxe with a dwarven face carved into the hilt
- a rusty grappling hook (it doesn't look terribly trustworthy)

Wenyld
"Who can use what? We should split this stuff up to benefit us all so we are all more likely to survive. I could use the bow."
She has a 16 Dex.

"Can't pass up the opportunity to wear this armor" says Bilberta. She then sees the battle axe and her eyes light up. "Never seen something this fancy in my life!" She grabs that too.
She looks at Wenyld"These swords can be of use to the others, so I'll take them." She stows them in her new backpack. "You're welcome to the bow and arrows, of course" she says to Wenyld.
"Well, the slime has us stuck here. We might as well see what is behind this door." she says to Wenyld. She will try to open the door.

Wenyld and Bilberta begin to divide the dusty spoils feel free to work the split up out of character if you'd like.
Bilberta tries to open the door but it's locked. At just about that time, both Wenyld and Bilberta hear some activity with the keyhole in the door, as if it's being manipulated.
A key hands from a nail in the door.
Actions?

Wenyld
Wenyld grabs the key and steps back, reading her staff in case she has to fight.

Wenyld grabs the key off the door and steps back, just as the door bursts open with a smash! They see Rimilda, Hailey, Sully, Palermo, and Sisyphus in a strange room with a column of water in the middle.
