Re: OOC Chat
Sorry for my absence I got Covid late last week and it got worse over the weekend. I'm slowly starting to feel better but still not great.

Re: OOC Chat
Glad to hear you are getting better.
Re: OOC Chat
Hey, I know that Garrant's input has been limited in the current scenario, but I'm still here, just trying to conserve spells a little.
Re: OOC Chat
Nothing wrong with that considering. It is going to be interesting to see how it plays out.
Re: OOC Chat
I mean if we get into real trouble he'll start slinging spells, although with dark elf MR it might be futile.
Re: OOC Chat
Try and focus on something other than the elves directly. Not sure of your spells but that is my general thought when facing MR creatures.
Re: OOC Chat
He's an evoker, unfortunately. I did pick up the odd 'buff' spell, but was intending to save them for the mind flayers.
Re: OOC Chat
Depending how it goes in the next couple of rounds we may need to use them. Hopefully we can rest up and recover magic and hp before facing the Mind Flayers or we are in real trouble.
Re: OOC Chat
Just a request as you wait for rest of the team to get in "real trouble". I would request that if your plan for a round is waiting, pausing or otherwise not acting a post with that information is greatly appreciated by the DM so that I know when to move forward.

Re: OOC Chat
Sorry, yes, will do.
Re: OOC Chat
I am hoping to move this forward in about 20-22 hours from this post. For those that have not had a chance to act please do so to communicate with me in some way to let me know you need more time. Thank you!
Re: OOC Chat
Sorry guys. My spells are really limited for this situation and to make matters worse the only light Garrant is getting is from the wall of fire, he has no source of his own.
Re: OOC Chat
When we next rest we can both make some continual light items, that should work wonders.
Greys Campaign.
Re: OOC Chat
Yeah, that's an idea. He doesn't even have a magical blade that glows.
Re: OOC Chat
If we got a good day of rest we could make a few for everyone and then rememorise something useful for combat.
It’s harder I think when you haven’t built up your PCs from 1st level and you just get high level ones. Because you tend to forget that we as a group would have been dealing with torches and lanterns for 5 levels before continual light was a thing. So when we got there we would have been all “LETS MAKE LOADS!”
The wall of fire should be giving off quite a fair amount of illumination though. Given how much a torch gives off and all.

There is a magical blade that glows laying on the ground next to Qleceec.
