Boff "How about quietly is how?" in reply to the question.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
The Giant Beetles Cutting and Room Exploring
Moonday, 17th day of Planting, 597
12th day since leaving Loftwick
Room with Map
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Boff (AC 5, HP 61/61)
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 62/63) (Infravision)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 26/26)
60' back
Garrant (AC 3, HP 49/50, Armor 8/8)
Hex (AC 5, HP 17/27) (Continual Light coin)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 17/21, Armor 8/8) (Glowing Dagger)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 60/65, Armor 25/26)
In the rear group (about 65'-70' from Frannie on the map), Androgost cleans his sword and Hex directs Raffi to cut out the two surviving giant fire beetle glowing glands. Raffi is able to get both of the glands out, but does take about 2-3 minutes each gland. His hands and dagger are quite bloody by the time that he is complete. Hex is able to restore the illusionary Plate Mail to the Raffi and retain the spell.
Nah Olos never loses his infravision from the continual light, but we can assume that everyone is the "lower" group has restored their Infravision. Qleceec, Siouxsie and Frannie more up to the edge of the room. Nah Olos and Boff sneak into the room and are able to get a better view than from the corridor. The room is about 50' square, but by no means is there a straight wall in the area. The water continues across the room and is heading for the opening in the the northeast side. The slight glow the walls continues in this room (letting you see about 1 foot in front of you), but other than that there is nothing of note.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Hex and Raffi will take a quick look around near where the beetles came from, incase there is any treasure. After the halfling cleans himself and his weapons with his waterskin. He will try and save as much water as possible but will use as much as it takes to get fully clean

Boff will move up a bit more to try and get a better view of where the passage is on the other end of the room.

The Giant Beetles Treasure Hunting and Room Exploring
Moonday, 17th day of Planting, 597
12th day since leaving Loftwick
Room with Map
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Boff (AC 5, HP 61/61)
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 62/63) (Infravision)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 26/26)
60' back from end of map
Garrant (AC 3, HP 49/50, Armor 8/8)
Hex (AC 5, HP 17/27) (Continual Light coin)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 17/21, Armor 8/8) (Glowing Dagger, Glowing fire beetle glands)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 60/65, Armor 25/26)
Hex searches for treasure that the fire beetle might have collected and while they do find the small area that the beetle were living in, the small size and smell in the back seem discouraging to have Hex or Raffi crawl into a hole for these 2.5 foot longs bugs. Raffi works on cleaning himself using up much of his waterskin, but notices that there is a one inch deep bit of water running down the tunnel. Garrant and Androgost wait for this duo to finish their business. The group has plenty of light with the continual light coin, glowing dagger and glowing fire beetle glands. (They are currently 60' from the end of the map.)
Siouxsie and Frannie are in a little bit of a middle ground place. They are hanging out in the dark and watching the scouts walk out of their infravision range. Should they follow or wait for the others?
Nah Olos is scouting ahead with Boff right on his heels and Qleceec about 10' behind the duo. Qleceec notices that he cannot no longer see Siouxsie and Frannie, but not wanting to speak has no way to tell to the lead duo. The group tries to avoid stepping in to much of the water as they followed its path through the room. (Since they are trying to be quiet splashing is the not the best move.) The water has started to pool slightly and disappear into the northern wall as shown on the map. The team can see that the tunnel widens out some with perhaps heading into more corridors or rooms. The yellow line shows the limits of the teams line of sight (using infravision).
There is no sign of another creature at this time.

Qleceec will see if she can tell how the water is draining out while she waits for the others to catch up.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Hex and Raffi will head back up towards the Druid and the cleric. Once there the halfling will ask Suzie if the water here is pure enough to drink? If she says it is he will refill his skin. Hex will fill his as well. If she says it isn’t then they will not do this however.
The halfling continues to watch the read as the others explore the cave.
Hex will cast Phantom Armour up.on himself and try one last time to keep the spell this day.
And just makes it

Androgost starts to get antsy with the party becoming spread out too far in the unforgivable darkness. To those near him, "we should advance and catch up with our comrades..."

Into some caves
Moonday, 17th day of Planting, 597
12th day since leaving Loftwick

Boff (AC 5, HP 61/61)

Androgost (AC -6, HP 60/65, Armor 25/26)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 17/21, Armor 8/8) (Glowing Dagger, Glowing fire beetle glands)
Hex (AC 0, HP 17/27, Armor 8/8) (Continual Light coin)
Nah Olos, Boff and Qleceec begin to feel a little exposed, and agree to wait and then encourage the group to tighten up. Hex casts another Phantom Armor spell giving him his illusionary plate mail back. This however takes additional time as the group is trying to get back together. Eventually with the same general group thought the group gets back in the same general area (see map).
Nah Olos and Boff still exploring with infravision alone have found that the area or corridor has a choice of two directions to explore. The area continues to have the characteristic lichen that has been seen before. The yellow line is just a limit of view indicator. Unlike the previous cave water is not flowing on the floor in this room and with the exception of the lichen it is empty.
Qleceec explores the water not gathering up, there is clearly a flow of some kind, but without light there is little chance that you can understand it. Perhaps getting into the water you could find the drain location?
Hex calls up when he finally can see Siouxsie with his continual light coin asking "Is the water here pure enough to drink?" to which the druid replies positively to.
Still nothing jumping out to kill the group.
