Round 1
OOC: To be clear you can't melee attack this round as you are still too far from what is going on up the trail. This round you will hear the horn and can run from where you are to the FAR zone where the first party and the goblin spearmen are. You will be, still, too far away to attack the goblin bowmen, but will see them.
"Aooooooo!" sounds through the dark forest. It echoes around, but you are close enough to pin point that it is coming from only a bit further up the trail you are on.
Black Wolf draws his long sword and runs up the path. Naugrim pulls his axe from his back and runs forward. Willow who was in the lead sprints ahead sliding through the trees off to the side of the trail as the trio comes to a bend in the trail.
As Black Wolf and Naugrim round the bend they see a fight going on ahead of them! A human and a dwarf are engaged with a Goblin holding a spear, both are FAR from you and you won't be able to attack them at the moment. GM: Round 1 got you to this point FAR from the melee and OUT OF RANGE for the bowmen. Next round you can move to NEAR and attack in melee, or at range to the bowmen (unless something else happens).
Willow, however, finds herself at FAR range of a Goblin attacking a Human and Dwarf. She also sees another Goblin who is OUT OF RANGE further up the trail. GM: Willow can fire an arrow at the nearest Goblin and your previous order was to do so. I'll roll...
Quickly drawing her bow, Willow lets loose an arrow Willow's Longbow: [1d20+0]=20+0=20; Damage: [1d8]=7 which goes right into the Goblin's open mouth and out the back of its skull. It stands in shock for a second then collapses to the ground to move no more.
OOC: What a shot!
