Boff (AC 5, HP 61/61)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48) (Continual Light rock)

Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8) (Glowing Dagger)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 26/26)
Raffi and Garrant watch the rear, with Frannie unsure what to do.
Hex cast Detect Illusion looking at the mud and beyond. (Results posted to private forum)
Androgost is stuck in the pit with no visible escape path.
Boff and Siouxsie are ready to pull Qleceec's rope when Nah Olos gets a hold of it. Since Nah Olos is not grabbing at quite the right place Qleceec pulls the rope back (reseting the rope) (note this is the second round the Nah Olos is thrashing around for the rope.
Moving this on a little bit
On the third round, Qleceec throws the rope a second time and gets the rope into the area that Nah Olos is thrashing about. The trio (Qleceec, Boff and Siouxsie) pull on the rope and are able to pull Nah Olos not only to the surface, but to the edge of the pit that Androgost is at the bottom of.

Boff "Anyone else got rope? If we have two then we can work this out better." he calls out. "Otherwise I've got my ten foot pole we can use."

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Just to be clear, while someone is in the mud it is like cartoon quicksand, always pulling you down. For Nah Olos it is not like sitting on the side of a pool, he is holding himself from being sucked in and therefore the others that are holding the other end of the rope feeling resistance as well.
Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Garrant heads forward and supplies an additional 50' of rope from his bag.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
Just waiting on input from Siouxsie and/or Hex. I will be moving this along in about 12 hours with or without additional input.

Re: Chapter 2: The Highway and Silver Spring
I can’t really make any input until I have seen the results of the detect illusion spell am afraid.

Hex takes over watching the rear and Frannie whilst Raffi tries to throw his rope to Androgost. He will try and get the dwarf lass to help steady the rope to help the cavalier ascend back up to the corridor.
The mud is real, but the door there is not. We can deal with that once we have Nah free.

The Highway -
Moonday, 17th day of Planting, 597

Qleceec (AC 1, HP 62/63)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 53/53)

Garrant (AC 8, HP 49/50)
Hex (AC 0, HP 27/27, Armor 8/8) (Continual Light coin)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21, Armor 8/8) (Glowing Dagger)
Frannie (AC 4, HP 26/26)
Qleceec, Siouxsie and Boff help the very muddy Nah Olos get up enough to be able to the climb the wall, but given the amount of mud all round the half-orc the wall is considered very slippery. Given the side of the hall the trio is on Nah Olos climbs up to the opposite wall that climbed on to get out into the mud. At the same time Raffi and Frannie help poor Androgost out of the pit (back to the side the main party is on).
The two wizards guard the rear of the group.
From the approximate location of the secret door, comes a call. "Ismoos, are those gud Primers gone yet?" and second voice (the one the group had been talking to before) says right after the first speaks, but directed to the party, "Oh, you all are still here. How did you get rid of the those pranksters?"
With your attention pointed down the hallway (and all the light in play) it is the groups best guess that there is another open pit at the far end of the mud field.
