Sure, I know next to nothing but I have read a few threads and can guess lucky.

Count in Gideon as well! I've trawled the threads sporadically, but I'll definitely use that search function!

I think I'm *mostly* caught up. Been on the mend a few days, took out a big, fat buck with my car on the way to work early last Thursday morning.
I'm good, my poor car not so much.

Tanker,
Glad to hear you were not hurt too badly. Good luck shaking off the soreness and replacing the vehicle.

Sorry to hear Tank and glad you are OK. Big deer are tough, moose even tougher. I once shot an 8 pointer that had 3 inches of arrow and the broadhead all healed up inside it. You would never have known it was there until I dressed him out. I have seen pictures of recovered bullets that were healed up inside and the deer were fine.

I keep seeing prompts about hints that might be found in the other PC’s action threads. But this game is so vast, there is absolutely no way most of us can possibly be reading all the information.
So I have a question for my fellow players….
Do you read everything the other players in this game are doing? Or do you only read the thread you are currently involved in?

I only read the thread my character is in. This is true for all the games I'm in.

Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
I mostly read my own thread. However, I do try to peruse the threads at common places (Brazen Strumpet, Chapel, etc.) when I have a few moments. Generally, I like to only know what my character does. I'll check out specific things if I'm given a link, like when another character is giving me the details of a past exploit or experience. To me, that's just them recounting the tale without having to retype it all.
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
I do read some threads, particularly if they have a battle going on; you like to cheer on fellow players or grimace along when they get duffed up. But I never act upon any ooc knowledge that I as a player may know but my character doesn't.Do you read everything the other players in this game are doing? Or do you only read the thread you are currently involved in?
I think 'hints' might point to 'general public knowledge' so for example knowing that 'Snake-men attacked the Logging Camp' but anything else about them is unknown to Vann.
Some of the Barrowmaze Advent quiz answers might fall into that 'public domain' knowledge. Answers maybe spoken about in the tavern threads or from a Town Crier announcement.
But yes, the campaign is vast and has so many active threads.

I have done both. I enjoy the plotlines and like to keep up, but there have been periods when I didn't have the time and faced 40+ pages of past missions. Those I write off, much to my inner completionist's dismay. The Raust plotline drew me back in, though.
I have always kept up with town threads, and those times where people split off in the barrowmaze.

I only do mine.
A couple have I had the urge to take a peek into other campaigns, but it's way too much information.

I obsessively read every thread, but I am almost certainly an outlier in this regard.

Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
I have read some into the other threads, but my part is just getting started. If it is relevant and public to my char I'll probably read it at some point
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
I am only in this single game as a player so not sure what others do or if any protocol is expected.
I have read through all the campaign settings, house rules, Gods & Magic' general threads and the Helix location threads, my character adventure thread and expedition threads that relate to characters I am adventuring with (so Fydmar, Gen, Durgo & Bro Sym going to survey the forest).
I occasionally flick through other threads, usually reading just Spearmint's update not reading every individual character action.
The game is big and epic though and could be poignant too as I see a character death pending.

I'm an obsessive reader for work and pleasure. But I must admit when it comes to games, I only read what pertains to my character.
