Bugs would be interested in spelunking. Assuming he doesn't get thrown in irons before then.
Re: OOC
Yes, thank you for doing it.
Old-school players are only scared of two things:
1. Level drain
2. Stuff that turns your ass to stone.
I think stirges should be added to that list!

Over on the Dragonsfoot forums, someone has a signature that says something like:

This has to be a record for the fastest character kill in a new game?OGRE MAGE wrote: ↑Tue Sep 19, 2023 3:14 pm Suicide Revenge Tour
Rocky Fields Outside Keep
Late Afternoon
At the urging from Thirteen, the doomed Paladin attempts to stop the hungry monster with a command and a raised hand. Things do not go well after that. The beast swipes a single massive claw at Crobeus that completely knocks him from his feet, ripping through armor and flesh with one fell blow. He lands in the soft dirt of a recent furrow and doesn't move again. 12 damage and I will need a System Shock roll.![]()
Actions!
Crobeus AC3 -2/10 Unconscious
Thirteen TJ AC4 12/12

He's there now.
On November 2nd I will be participating in another 24 hour game of Dungeons & Dragons as part of Extra Life. This organization uses gaming to help raise money to donate to children's hospitals. I'm raising money for Marshfield Children's Hospital in Marshfield, WI, and all money I raise will go to that hospital. All donations are tax-deductible. Please take a moment to check out my donation page below. Thank you.

Re: OOC
I suppose, like an "planning" thread.
But as I said, right or wrong, at the time I didn't think a separate thread would actually solve the problem: getting a team division. By that I mean that a lot of players would just outright miss info in another thread - as opposed to the main thread. Not saying I like it that way, just that I think that's the harsh reality. According to my belief and experience.

What you are doing is fine with me. I wasn’t only referring to ooc posts in the tornado.
Again, I don’t mind some planning in the game thread, but I don’t like to see players chit-chatting or posting other irrelevancies.

Re: OOC
Though I was certain in my mind there was a SS roll required for losing over half of one’s hit points in one attack……. (I only require one for losing all of them)
…….it has been pointed out to me that there is no such rule in 1E.

If that’s true, then Crobeus fell victim to the misremembering DM, and should still be unconscious.
It might not matter anyway, but fair is fair, and I don't mind admitting if I screwed up.
