Re: OOC II
Frankly digging into all of the details of armors and what not just go with what would be beneficial to Algrim and I'm not overly concerned.

Yup, well aware. Three very important, conflicting power-players out in the woods with ranged weapons. What could to wrong?Rex wrote: ↑Sat Aug 19, 2023 4:46 pm Reminder that I posted some more info in the Chybisa thread. The hunt will involve both the marshal and the prince. It is common knowledge that the king and his son don't get along. The marshal is the king's son in law and in most peoples view the princes chief rival/competition.

Gerolt would make sure the others were aware of the high profile people and the issues. The Ivanians in the group might note that Gerolt's manner of talking about the Baron of Geda (also Ivanian) shows great esteem.
Re: OOC II
If nobody else is particularly interested in armour, or selling the jewellery, then I'd like to take my share of the drake hoard out of the gold coins we have so I can pay for his armour.
If the jewellery is worth 8 gold coins, plus we have 3 more from the hoard that would be two gold coins each, plus one left over. So I'd like to take a gold coin up front which is effectively half his share, more or less.
Arngeir is a melee fighter so I want to improve his armour as best I can.

Re: OOC II
I'm fine with selling the jewelry if it's needed.

Re: OOC II
How about we make this the easy way and split the 11 gold into 2 gold each + 60d (or whatever a fifth of a gold crown translates into) and every player can just choose if their character cashed in or kept a coin/some jewelry?
Is that included the 40 d each you mentioned in a previous post shaidar?

Re: OOC II
The 40d is separate (in addition) to the above from the gold/jewellery.
Re: OOC II
Sorry, I should have responded to this earlier. I have no issue with the above.

Enjoy your weekend. I will be trying to move it along some but it is never fast moving.Leitz wrote: ↑Fri Aug 25, 2023 1:20 am Sir Gerolt of Selot
I will be off-line this weekend, and I'm not sure how fast things will move forward. Gerolt is not with the group, he went elsewhere early in the morning. When he is back with them, and they are alone and can talk freely, he lets them know that the hunt is going to be risky because of the three personalities involved. There is a lot of conflict and danger between the three men leading the hunt.
Re: OOC II
Trying to finalize what armor is going to be made. I know Arngeir's wish list.
What is Turnip's wish list.

Re: OOC II
This set. Should be leather neck to toe, perhaps counts additional layer of cloth round the abd / groin / thigh / knees area?
Re: OOC II
Great pic. More a gambeson with collar and leggings then.
Re: OOC II
Yes, and calf boots as well. Would that work?
Re: OOC II
I need to spend a few minutes and try and figure out how much you can have made from the hide. Maybe just make a couple of rolls. Update coming probably Wednesday as I have 2 appointments before work Tuesday morning.
Re: OOC II
Happy Birthday for yesterday, Rex!
Re: OOC II
Thanks Steve!
Sorry, I have been busy this weekend, I will try and get something posted later today.

No problems, hope you had a good weekend.
Re: OOC II
Been great so far. Spent Saturday wandering the Adirondacks with my wife. Yesterday had some friends over, did some plinking in the backyard, and then played HarnMaster. Heading back into the woods to do some scouting shortly.
Re: OOC II
Whenever I hear about the Adirondacks I think about X-files LOL. My favorite show, can't be helped

Re: OOC II
LOL. A beautiful place to visit if you have never been before.
