Arngeir puts the gold coin and jewellery away. As he does so he realises that maybe should have tried to barter the price up for the silver.

"You trade in uncut gems?" he asks.

"I trade in just about anything. Uncut gems absolutely."

Arngeir removes his two amber gems from his pouch.

Sir Gerolt of Selot

Gerolt smiled when he saw Ariel, and greeted her warmly. "Ariel, this lady is Eldura, a travelling companion I happened across in the wild. It's a long story, and I need a favor. How about I buy supper and tell you the story, in exchange for the loan of some lighter armor for Eldura and a couple of crossbows? I have a plan, and this one may actually work. Care to join us?"

Eldura smiles and does a formal but cordial greeting, holding out her hand, as is custom in Aleath.

"Hello Ariel, I am Eldura, of Aleath. I travelled here some time ago and recently met Sir Gerolt during an errand. You see, we were exploring the option of clearing and securing an old trade path, and we ran into trouble doing so. But I digress, let's have supper and me and Sir Gerolt will tell you all about it. When is your shift over? Nice armor by the way. Was that handcrafted for you by the local craftsmen?"

Goes along with his friend and watches the interaction with the money lender closely with a bit of amusement. But realizing the need for solidarity he makes sure he remains firm faced with no show of emotion over any of the information given. Aided by the fact the numbers and banter have little meaning or concern to him.

Keeping himself away from the water, Gerolt looked from Ariel, to Eldura, and back. He grinned. "My lucky day! Two beautiful women by my side. Well worth the cost of a meal."

Gerolt used his knowledge of Burzyn to get Ariel talking enough to pick a decent place to eat. "We need to gather the rest of our troupe, and Eldura and I will meet you there this evening. I look forward to buying you supper."

Algrim smiles "Them gems do more good in yer hands than mine. Pleasure be all mine." the dwarf decides to go buy more hunting, bolts 24 more.
