Volunteering for the 4th Frontier War, Boronu spent the entire period in a remote garrison uninvolved in the fighting in any way. With the end of that conflict, he continued in the army until disillusioned by the "Peacekeeping" operations on Ucella in 1093. Although awarded the MCG, he couldn't stand the hypocrisy and quit the army.
While drinking with Aapu Debica, they felt that they could do better and formed the Brotherhood of Solace. This immediately made the Koenig's Rock Protective Association a rival. The greatest breakthrough was moving from Private clients to working with Maas Industries in 1100. The decision not to sell out to LSP in 1104 has seen the two companies at loggerheads ever since.

Aapu was commissioned into the Imperial Army and fought in the 4th Frontier War. He was awarded the MCUF for his work with a reconnaissance unit.
The end of the major war didn't see the end of conflicts, and Aapu's unit was switched from trouble-spot to trouble-spot until he eventually resigned his commission after the "Peacekeeping" action on Ucella.
Drinking with Boronu Vipach the two of them decided to set up a security company and the Brotherhood of Solace was formed.
While Boronu undertook the administration and politics, Aapu concentrated on the day to day security work.

Originally hales from Karin. She is NOT a sworld-worlder despite the looks and name.

Tani worked (unsucessfully) as a Pirate smuggler into Karin before getting drafted into the Army (thus avoiding jail). She got out as soon as she could, then joined the brotherhood after travelling for a term.

She shares an apartment on Koenig's Rock (in Burrows) with Helen Pimuunu.

A Mewey
Gombikruurai is an unusual Mewey - Indeed, so unusual that the Mewey would possibly classify them as mentally unstable and dangerous.
A member of the Brotherhood of Solace.

Gombikruurai has interpreted the Brotherhood's office as its cleeve-house and has taken the management and protection of it as their role in life. This could be tricky for the brotherhood if it ever had to change headquarters, but this issue hasn't arisen yet.

While the brotherhood occasionally persuade Gombikruurai to act as an exotic and unpredictable member of a clients entourage, Gombikruurai is usually found at the main office - acting as receptionist, or tending the network of alarms and monitors.

Recent addition to the Brotherhood of Solace.

Somewhat vocal about the use of the word "Brotherhood".

A Sword Worlder from Enos, she served in the Imperial Army after a year in the University at Sacnoth. She then served for a year in the Caladblog Police before moving to Bowman and joining the brotherhood. She's only been in post for two months, but has already managed to recover several items that had been sequestered without the previous owner's agreement.

She hasn't confirmed the rumour that she has had her reaction times cybernetically tweaked, but the scuttlebutt is that she definitely has! She also has a very nice, intelligent Instellarms stun-pistol that she wears at all times - maybe even in bed!

(She has turned down all offers of non-business fraternisation to date, stating that she never mixes work with real life. Over-eager requests have been met with credible threats of intimate damage and have not been repeated.)
