Garrant moves one square NE and fires off a Magic Missile at R10

Boff continues to wait through the waitaminite vines, and does not wait a minute, going after blue 2 in a frenzy.

Frannie Seeing that the combat appears to be winding down and is well in hand, grabs two sacks out of her pack, and tosses one each over the heads of R2 and R3, drawing them loosely tight around their necks. Next she will take strips of cloth/belts from R1 (dead), R2, and R3 to tie up their hands and feet (at the ankles). She figures that it might be good to have creatures from around here to question. Especially given the height difference, this is probably a couple of rounds, but she starts this round.

While some hobgoblins surrender, she will investigate the ballistae.

Could it be an anti-dragon weapon? Fire crossbow bolts or javelin sized projectiles. Dud They craft it themselves?

Maybe they can be recruited as our 'artillery backup'?

Frannie moves over and gets hoods one R2 and R3 and manages to get a belt from R1. I will leave the rest for a future actions.

Boff continues pushing through the Entangle and kills B2 (who was Held and Entagled)

Raffi is having a horrible time attacking the Hobgoblin and stumbles and will loose his next round of attacks recovering.

Hex (in his plate mail wearing slyph form) hovers over the combat.

Garrant blasts and kills R10 with a magic missile.

Siouxsie there was no communication from the rest of the party about there being a possible pit trap (pink box) and you did not mention avoiding it in your text, but I will ignore that for this move and assume you took the long way around it. The purple glowing weapon could be a weapon used again a dragon, the projectiles are javelin size. Whom crafted it? Hard to say.

Between Androgost & Nah Olos they slay P2 and P3. Who actually killed P3, I am sure that both think that they landed the killing blow, but who can know.

Qleceec snipes the two remaining Entanged hobgoblins (B3 and B4).

That only leaves the two held hobgoblins (R2 & R3) and the one in combat with Raffi on the hill. Speaking of O1 he come close to landing a blow, but no success.

Hex will cast a colour spray spell down upon the hobgoblin battling Raffi, and the unseen halfling most likely.

Nah Olos checks to see how the ballistae is moved to determine if they can take it along as they go. He also periodically checks for reinforcements.

Androgost surveys the battlefield and deems those engaged in combat require no further aide from him. Their skill at arms will see them through. He then scans the perimeter to see if any other foe awaits them at a distance that require his attention.

If no threat is observed, he will first investigate the body of the girl.

Seeing that things seem to be under control this end, he heads over to help Frannie with the held hobgoblins.

Boff surges through the remaining entanglement area and will then attempt to run to the SW bluff to crouch down and act as a lookout. In case there is anyone in reserve, or if the hobs that ran re-find their courage.

Hex casts his Color Spray and knocks out both Raffi and lone fighting hobgoblin. Hex will have to decide what to do with the hobgoblin and how to find his invisible friend.

Frannie continues to work on tying up the two held hobgoblins with Garrant helping they complete this task.

Boff escapes the Entangle field and climbs down the cliff to head up the other side. Eventually he will be able to get to the guard position that he was thinking about near where the invisible halfling happens to be.

Androgost look at the what is clearly now a dead elf, no more likely a half-elf - she have been dead for perhaps two days.

Nah Olos joins Siouxsie in the investigation of the purple glowing ballista. It has 3 spare rounds (4 total rounds if you count the loaded round) in the back of the broken wagon. The mystery of how the ballista is moved is solved by Qleceec, it appears that while most of the tracks have been washed away, that up to eight hobgoblins carried the weapon from somewhere to the northeast of its current position.

The light rain continues to fall, which lessens the smell of the death in the air - even though it is still there. Additional hobgoblins do not immediately return, but that is always a future possibility.

We are in non-combat time and the party can decide what will come next.

Hex lands next to the hobgoblin and quickly stoves it’s head in, removing any helmet first before he does so. Without any rope he can’t take the chance of it getting up and continuing its attack.

He will let Raffi come around from the spell, knowing there’s nothing he can do to wake him up before hand anyway.
With that done the gnome will try and see if the other hobgoblins are still squirming within the web behind him.

Qleceec notes that they must have a short distance to take the weapon and can determine that they headed northeast around the hill.

Hex smashes in the head of the unconscious hobgoblin with an available rock. He notes that there is no one trapped in the Web. The Color Spray and Improved Invisibility spells end about the same time (within a round of each other) allowing Raffi to act normally.

What will be the next play for the party of adventurers - Perhaps keeping down the trail or looking for the hobgoblin camp. Perhaps something else?

Is my charmed one still around? I would think if we are still killing some and a few run off he would take his chances and do the same. No problem.

Hobgoblin camp might just add to our troubles. I can't see getting favour from them to jointly defeat a chaotic dragon. So my preference is to lick our wounds and press on while daylight remains.

I know that might not be the most creative suggestion but I think it practical.
