Re: OOC
Oh, and I just started rewatching the animated series.
Re: OOC
My char's asteroid belt in Vulcan nerve pinch will trump that. (Proof: The first nerve pinch ever took out duplicate Kirk. Of course, it probably only takes out space judo if you achieve Surprise). https://www.startrek.com/article/one-tr ... eally-work

I hope all is well with the family!
Re: OOC
Hang in, bro Marullus!
Taavi post very soon. It seems we're shooting them faster than Taavi can psychic them. And vice versa about outgoing vs. incoming gunfire. A dilemma for the city prosecutor turned badlands/space marshal.... But, he has an idea...

I just want to check in and make sure you understand your powers...
So, you are in the guy's head. Connection is established, and we also established you need line of sight to establish it but not to maintain it. So you are still with him.Level-2: The psychic’s awareness of the target’s surface cognition is sophisticated enough to read their current thoughts, though it can’t pick up memories or non-obvious connections. The target gets a Mental saving throw to resist this.
You don't have any special abilities to convince or compel him (which is why you are doing normal Talk rolls) but you also don't need him present, unarmed, or cooperative.
If you want to question him, you can literally read his mind.
You can ask questions, then read what he thinks about directly from his surface thoughts, answers forthcoming if he fails a mental save.
If Taavi is playing to moral compunctions against reading the minds of the unwilling, that's fine. I just want to make sure that we OOC are on the same page.

Re: OOC
I'll be at Grogcon this Thursday-Monday, but please NPC Hansel to keep the action going as needed. Depending on the radio chatter, and any HUD intel he's getting, his general idea is "hit them fast before they regroup." (Unless there's like 50 of them, then hopefully cooler heads will prevail!)
