I'd suggest he's at least "significant" in the ship's hierarchy (if still technically outside the chain of command) in his role as "Drive Shaman" and one further step removed (but still holding the equivalent of a "position at court" if not an actual rank) as Raven's "Seer". After all he's "clergy"!

It seems that third person is our standard "house style", but it's up to you. First person works just fine, too.

The fighter has no airlock, so you will need to EVA between craft (no roll, you have the skill and there is no stress/pressure).

Or, just wait for Remington to give you clearance, and land in the hangar (this saves another trip in the taxi - return trip included in fee).
