OOC II
Re: OOC II
I think some new parts are a good idea. The ghost will be making another appearance and then we can get moving back to town with the plan of cleaning the outpost up and making some much needed repairs. I will be moving Gerolt off to other things so I don't need to NPC him, he could always show back up as a PC or NPC. He considers this area his responsibility after all.
Re: OOC II
Sorry for the delay, I will get a post up Saturday.
Re: OOC II
I talked to Kallen this afternoon and he is going to have to bail. His new job is keeping him crazy busy. I have some ideals for Gerolt and Volin but I am open to any suggestions if anyone has any.
Re: OOC II
I will try and post a more detailed map for you in the morning, running out of energy now.
Re: OOC II
No worries!
Is it worth another go at player recruitment?

Re: OOC II
I could try a recruitment post. I don't think we have to have another player but it wouldn't hurt to have another.
Re: OOC II
I'm not sure we'll get anyone.
If you're happy as we are then its your call.

Re: OOC II
What up, gaming friends!
I decided maybe an "old dog" can learn some "new tricks" and jumped into Rex's game.
I know nothing about Harn or its system, and I apologize up front if I slow down the game a bit whilst learning.
I will be playing Volin Grimhald > reviewing the character sheet and trying to wrap my whiskey-addled brain around all these crunchy bits.
Looking forward to it!

Welcome!
I think we were all newbies when Rex started the game, and still are for all intense purposes. Rex is really good at easing us in and looking after most of the crunchy bits until we get our heads around it.

Welcome Aboard hedgeknight!
Thanks shaidar I try anyways. Just ask any questions you think of that is the best way to learn and I don't mind answering them at all. The best way to play is the same as any RPG really, don't worry about the rules and just say what you want your character to do, I will figure the rest out and hopefully everyone learns along the way. I am in the DM category of if it makes sense that someone could attempt what you want then it is the DM's job to figure out how the rules should handle it, if that requires a bit of fudging or house ruling so be it. The rules should never set the boundaries, that is the job of the players and DM.

I need to do this more in my games. Thanks for the inspiration, Rex.

Re: OOC II
Your welcome. But I think as a player in a couple of your games you do a pretty good job of it already.

Re: OOC II
I will post up some information on what the group knows of the political situation in Chybisa this weekend. This way you will have some idea of what is going on there. This way you can have an idea of the importance of the outpost to both Azadmere (the kingdom of the dwarves), Chybisa, and even it's much larger neighbors Kaldor and Melderyn. Which may influence how you want to deal with the situation (ie keeping it secret vs public knowledge).
Re: OOC II
Hey all, Rex and I have been chatting. I'm going to take over Tamerlaine's character, and I need your help in ensuring we maintain continuity. If you have any agreements or understandings with him, please let me know.
