Chapter 1: Journey through the Jotens

"I do not know the spell, Hex, it's part of an item I have, a rather useful one."
Before praying he will offer up his last CLW (to Hex perhaps as he has the least HP)?

Re: Chapter 1: Journey through the Jotens
Hex or Raffi for healing I would think.
Re: Chapter 1: Journey through the Jotens
Hex thanks the taller wizard for the gift of healing.
That’s some item indeed. Impressive, and very useful

In the Jotens - After Mid-Day.
Sunday, 9th day of Planting, 597
4th day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 49/63)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 56/65, Armor 22/26)
Nah Olos (AC 4, HP 47/53)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 34/48)
Garrant (AC 8, HP 25/50)
Hex (AC 0, HP 25/27, Armor 8/8)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 17/21, Armor 8/8)
Boff (AC 5, HP 50/61)
Franny (AC 4, HP 26/26)
The adventurers are un-bothered through getting new spells. I have added 1 HP for all resting and the 5 HP from Garrant's spell to Hex. Hex has cast two Phantom Armor spells one on himself and one on Raffi. The dimensional space served its purpose, but has completed as well. The time is now between noon and 1 PM with a slightly cloudy Planting day. It is mild 73 degrees. What would the group wish to do?

"Maybe we use half our available healing spells?"
We are down 85hp total. Which is 21% of our total. We get back 8hp back a night from rest. The thing is it isn't evenly distributed, so Garrant for example is down 25, half of his hp and he has the worst AC in the group.

Re: Chapter 1: Journey through the Jotens
I was hoping to save my potion of extra-healing, but I think I'm going to have to use it.
Re: Chapter 1: Journey through the Jotens
I would save it and use 2 of your healing spells.

"We had said that we were waiting here a day or two - so I hope all you healing types took all the blasted healing you can. Or are we changing the plan and rushing back to attack the dragons forces today?"

Frannie also has 3 CLWs. She could use 2 now, and save 1 for an emergency/

"I answer to my god when it comes to spells, Androgost, not you. Do I tell you how to swing a sword. I chose the maximum number of healing spells I thought was prudent, or do I now have to give you a list of spells for your approval each morning. "gurusql wrote: ↑Sun May 14, 2023 10:58 pm Androgost

"Galloping Unicorn, lets fight the same enemy not each other. I will just wait here until such a time that you and your god are ready to continue our quest."

The wizard-priest seems about to issue a further angry retort when the stops, takes a deep breath, waits a few seconds and then slowly breathes out.
"Androgost. I doubt Lord Boccob cares about the fact that an evil dragon wants to make a home in these mountains. However, I am sure that my lord is interested in the enchantments and dweomers the dragon is using to make such wholescale changes to the topography of the land, as am I. Of the five possible spells slots I could have given up to healing, I used four for cures. As I have not received any healing since I almost died in the initial encounter, I intend to use two of those on myself, and the other two are available to whomever wants them. With Frannie's and Siouxsie's contributions, hopefully we will be well on the way to healing the group, which we can complete tomorrow. Let's hope the dragon is too busy with it's magic to bother us."

For myself as a druid (clerical class) I have access to healing spells, Cure Light & a single Cure Serious.
I have single use potions and scrolls which offer healing that I was saving for any 'climatic boss battle' not these introductory skirmishes.
That being said, I can use my two CLW's upon two of the wounded as long as you join me at Sunrise to adore the sun barefoot and create a lei wreath of vines to hang on a nearby branch in honour of the continuing provisions of the God's of earth, wind, fire and water ... or ale, Bacchus being the astrological constellation sign of the month.
Siouxsie: casts enhanced Cure Light Wounds [1d4+4]=4+4=8

Re: Chapter 1: Journey through the Jotens
there’s also access to the goodberry spell. Multiple ones of those preprepared could net the party fifty odd hit points of healing that last for 10 days. Only 8 can be used per person per day but it would free up a couple of cute light wounds slots for other second level druid spells whilst offering guaranteed healing up to 8 each, all self administered and not requiring the Druids attention .
Greys Campaign.
Re: Chapter 1: Journey through the Jotens
I suggest the healers in the group get themselves healed first, even if you don't normally heal yourself first.
