Clarification on this roll. It should be [1d100+7] with 01-25=1, 26-50=2, 51-75=3 and 76+=4

Just to let others know how my spell works.
so my Wind Control will increase the power by +3 mph each round until it adds +27mph into current normal windspeed which is enough to severely inhibit accurate missile fire. Unless current winds are at least half that, I am not sure that I can ground any flying Shtelke. The radius of the spell could be as wide as 360'ft, a veritable Maelstrom with a calm eye if the storm centred upon myself.

Once up to speed, it may last an hour and a half.


Trying to take advantage of missile attacks before the wind modifies such attempts, I will set a magic javelin by my side and speaking the trigger word, loose it into the onrushing Shtelke. (Let me target the nearest, say Blue 1).

Siouxsie launches Javelin of Piercing [1d20+6]=4+6=10 [1d6+6]=6+6=12

(Would hit AC6)

Hex will point his wand at the newcomers, and speak the words to activate the magic therein.

He will release a pea sized flaming ember and target it at the point of the bottom left hand corner of the square with the blue number 5 within, hoping to get it to burst there and explode in a 20 foot radius from that point, going to catch blue 1,2,3,4 & 5 in the blast.

Raffi seeing the sudden appearance of such a large amount of enemies, will begin to sneak his way northward, away from the enemy group and the strange dragon thing, moving as quietly as he can back up the map north.

With everyone posting, I will move this along this afternoon/evening. If you want there are a few rolls that you can make (if not I will make them with my post)
  • Boff and Franny - Assuming you are going back in (see my private post) some saving throws are needed
  • Reminding the Crit/Fumble House Rules. Qleceec (a potential fumble) and Nah Olos (a crit)
  • Hex you can roll that fireball damage.

Androgost wades in and attacks Red4 with his longsword wounding it for 5 HP damage. Qleceec finds the Shtelke horde flows past Androgost and she to has opponents to tackle. Her first blow lands for 7 points to Red5 (Luke? :lorcl: ), but her second blow is a miss, there is a slight stumble but the skilled ranger recovers.

Nah Olos with two-hands on his bastard sword slashes the previously wounded Shtelke (as attacked by Qleceec). The blow produces a large slice across the chest killing the target. But seeming like there is no end in sight, Red7 moves into the space vacated by Red6.

Garrant puts up a mirror image with 4 images. (Note since you rolled that 4 first, I am going to let that stand - once in a while the GM has to let the dice roll your way)

The gas cloud is spreading in the 12 MPH winds. Siouxsie launches a Javelin of Piercing at Blue1 which unfortunately does not pierce the Shtelke hide. Hex also shoots a fireball from his wand with a devastating effect. Blue1, Blue4 and Blue 5 are all killed! Blue2 is unaffected for some reason and Blue3 is pretty heavily wounded by the blast.

Raffi sees to much drama in this situation and attempts to sneak north 30' (back to the way he came) Please note that this is 25' off the map at the location of the rough arrow.

Boff re-enters the area with the moving trees and managed to get Franny out of the area. When they exit the "moving trees" they are 30' directly north of Hex (off the map) (And they see Raffi 20ish feet to their west [remember they are facing south])

The action then falls to the Shtelke side.

Red 1 and Red 5 each attempt to claw/claw/bite vs Qleceec. Qleceec is only affected by a single claw that gets through her armor for 1 HP of damage.
Red 2, Red3 and Red4 also attempt to claw/claw/bite vs Androgost. None get through Androgost's near invincible armor. The fumble has no lingering affect on the Shtelke.

As if it was a planned coordination, the five foot tall green dragon / lion hybrid takes the lead, moving through the space that Raffi left only moments ago and lets out a loud roar that can be heard by all (even over the wind), but only seems to potentially negatively effect Hex and Siouxsie. Hex and Siouxsie ears are ringing loudly and you cannot hear a thing. They both additionally need to make a save vs. paralyzation. Once the strange hybrid creature roars the Shtelke close. Blue3 yells something in green dragon, perhaps a single word. And the group throws spears that each are carrying at Hex (B2/B3) and Siouxsie (B6) - none of the spears damage the two spell casters.

Coming from above the tree tops and out of the area of the gas are another wave of creatures. There are six more Shtelke and new creature that I will cover in a moment. Four of the Shtelke head for Hex and Siouxsie. They will not get to attack this round. :neutral:

However, the other two Shtelke and a different looking lion / green dragon hybrid come out of the gas to attack Garrant. This lion/dragon hybrid would appear to be a 4' tall / 9' long two-headed "green dragon". The second head is that of a lion as are the foreparts and the front claws but all other parts of the creature are dragon like. The two Shtelke each throw a spear and the creature attempts a claw / claw / bite / gas breath weapon on the poor Garrant. One of the Shtelke spear hits the real Garrant for 2 HP damage. The lion/dragon hybrid claw / claw / bite attacks all hit the mage, or rather all hit mirror images of the mage - and destroying three of those images. The lion / dragon hybrid when launches its chorine gas breath weapon at you - which does 13 hp of damage, but you can save vs breath weapons for half. I have taken off the 13 damage on this posting, but if you make the save you will get 6 back. (Ruling here is at MI does not help since it is area effect, but the MI is still valid)

This brings it back to your actions!

Hex will cast a colour spray spell, in a 20 foot by 20 foot wedge in front of him, trying to catch blue D, blue 2 and blue 3 in the area of effect.

Raffi will signal silently to Boff and Franny that enemies are this way, and then try and creep back behind D ready to try for a back stab

I know that there was a wall of text, but Hex please do not forget the save.

Hex and Siouxsie ears are ringing loudly and you cannot hear a thing. They both additionally need to make a save vs. paralyzation.
