Siouxsie
I mistranslated the Dragon-kin on purpose. I think none of their given terms worth debating and they might only yield to a show of power, hence provoking the Cavalier and for myself, preparing a spell for my next actions.

Re: OOC Chat
Since combat looks likely I was reviewing Androgost's sheet, his armor has HP. If I remember correctly, probably not, that was discussed for the first time for 1e in UA but I cannot seem to find it. Just the introduction field and full plate. Can someone direct me to a resource that discusses armor HP and summarize here? Thanks!

Re: OOC Chat
to be fair to Hex, I haven’t ever come across playing Paralyzation where you can’t specify your subjects in the area of effect before, but now I know that’s how it is in this game I shall adjust accordingly.Whew! Hex, let's not toss any fireballs in the near future...
He can just cancel the spell on you with a thought anyway if it does affect you this time.

Re: OOC Chat
Hey folks, I know I am supposed to be acting as the “leader”, I do find that post difficult. All of the games I play(ed) are based on group decision. To that end I want to reach out here to get a bit more consensus. I would like to brainstorm regarding our next move. I see three choices:
1) The group stays put and uses the irregular terrain to our advantage. Pros: we can use the terrain, we are in a defensive position, there is forest cover. Cons: They probably assume we would be here, how long do we wait?
2) The group move back towards prairie. Pros: not many, 360 view, fight mounted. Cons: loss of progress, how long do we wait?
3) Continue to move forward. Pros: least loss of time. Cons: we are in the attacking position and we don’t know what is ahead.
Ideas, thoughts?

Re: OOC Chat
From a strategic/tactical standpoint option 1 is the best. But there is no guarantee they will show up anytime soon and it is effectively slowing/stopping us from getting to our objective and timing was emphasized so I vote for option 3. Option 2 also has the con of our opponent can fly and gains considerable advantage over us in the open.
Re: OOC Chat
We could always spy on them as they flee and see where they go before committing ourselves. The Druid could fly after them in the form of a local bird or a bat or what have you, or perhaps get a local bird to fly after them until they stop and then come back and tell us where they went for example.
We now know what they look like also, so we can scry in them using reflecting pool if that spell is in play.

And to be fair this is at least partially the GMs fault. Re: OOC Chat
As you are coming up with the options, one other reminder is it is about 4:00-4:30 game time.
Re: OOC Chat
My own thoughts are a barricade road block is really only effective against wagons. Anyone in foot or horse can pass around. If they block the road here, they must have some camp nearby. Do we want to assault it now or ride on to our destination?
I have a preference for scouting or scrying over charging into the unknown. Can one of these deceased be healed and taken captive for interrogation?
