Perhaps Androgost (as the leader) can finalize the watch list (as a standard or just for tonight as you prefer). There was the question of 3 or 4 watches and some that just answered any watch.

With a broad smile to Hex:I would appreciate a set Hex, not only as an excellent perimeter defense but as a reminder of your comradery. First things first though.
Nah, some snares at the perimeter, between the alarm stones would be prudent. Please make sure our comrades know where you've laid them. Thank you.
Chatting around the fire during supper. Garrant, Hex, and Boff please take first watch. Qleceec, Nah, and Raffi please take the second. Siouxsie, Franny and myself will take the last. Our friend from the ascent may be tailing... is probably tailing us and is likely not alone. We are a plump target in a remote area as this. Our mounts are of great concern as any losses would jeopardize our mission timing gravely. Garrant, Qleceec, and Siouxsie stay near them on your respective watches. If there is an encounter and engagement is certain, wake the folks nearest to you and engage, a kick to the thigh will suffice and is quiet. Folks just waking up, you wake the folks closest to you and then engage. The dance continues. Lets douse the fire just after supper.
In the Jotens
Dawn Starday, 8th day of Planting, 597
Start of the 3rd day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 63/63)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 65/65)
Nah (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48)
Garrant (AC 8, HP 50/50)
Boff (AC 5, HP 61/61)
Franny (AC 4, HP 26/26)
Hex (AC 0, HP 27/27)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21)
The group has first rate camp site security, including the illusionary forest from Siouxsie (there is a discussion on some specifics of the effects underway in the private area), Hex's four magic mouth markers that are well within the illusionary forest boundary and the snare set by Nah in the general direction you had travelled from. (Snares take about an hour each to set, so there can only be so many). Androgost and Boff checks out the horses and Garrant, Qleceec and Siouxsie talk about food. The watches are set as
Garrant, Hex, and Boff
Qleceec, Nah, and Raffi
Siouxsie, Franny and Androgost
There is no interruptions during the evening hours and nothing is captured in the snare. The party arises around dawn on the Starday. I assume the group will break camp and head out with Androgost returning to the second position? Be sure to let me know (perhaps on the private channel) if you are changing spells.
Hex and Raffi stretch and yawn, and the. pack carefully, the illusionist making sure to gather his warning stones and stowing them back in their pouch before leaving.
A nice bit of illusion Sooz, if I do say so myself. It looks so real. Even the feel of the trees is amazing. How do we get out? he says, genuinely impressed.
The pair will take some breakfast and do their best to clean the worst of the muck from their clothes and skin before brushing down and then resaddling the ponies. They will feed them before we leave if the horses didn’t get any grazing the night before too, and will do so every time they start out each day.
Boff looks sideways at Androgost after his "kick to the thigh" comment, but decides not to chime in.
The usually grumpy dwarf seems even more grumpy than normal once morning arises. Maybe because he hoped the giants might actually show themselves during the night? "All these precautions and nary a single coney in ther snares? Oh well, least we aint dead yet."
After morning business and a few rations, the dwarves are ready to get on with the long journey.
Will light a morning fire to put the chill in its place. Completing some basic calisthenics, he feeds his mount, and then sits down near the fire for a ration.
I'm surprised we did not have any visitors. Perhaps the quakes have them spooked.
Through a mouth full of hard tack and jerky: Qleceec, before we all mount up can you scout again and see if there appears to be anything new apparent in the area? Someone/something passing or performing reconnaissance during the eve? Thank you.
Finishing breakfast: Another day my friends! Let's mount up!
Androgost will take a position in the group based on Qleceec's report.
Nah Olos"I'm leaving snare active." H quickly eats a bit and preps his horse for the day's journey. He mounts up an falls in line as usual, bastard sword in one hand, reigns in the other. He looks around as they wait and as they travel, watchful for any movement.

Mid to Late Afternoon Starday, 8th day of Planting, 597
3rd day since leaving Loftwick
Qleceec (AC 1, HP 63/63)
Androgost (AC -6, HP 65/65)
Nah (AC 4, HP 53/53)
Siouxsie (AC 2, HP 48/48)

Hex (AC 0, HP 27/27)
Raffi (AC -1, HP 21/21)
The group is getting ready to head out and Qleceec heads out to do some quick scouting. Some evidence of small game is seen, but hostile creatures. On the way back she sees a family of 4 skunks (2 adults and 2 young) that are crossing the trail. Not wanting to be sprayed she pauses to the let the little family cross the trail.
The party prepares to leave the Druid's forest. Boff seems upset and Androgost surprised that something has not challenged the group. The other break-up camp, eat some breakfast and prepare the horses. As the morning progresses there are place the lead can see several hundred feet ahead and times that you can only 10-20 feet because of trees, rocks and bends in the trail. The day is fairly uneventful until about 3-4 PM. The trail is heading a northernly direction, but several members of the group (Androgost, Siouxsie, Garrant) get a glimpse of two creatures flying to the west of the group at height of perhaps 75 feet and a fair distance of 600-800 feet. The first is large creature in the 30+ feet range with a large wing span and the second is much smaller winged creature perhaps slightly larger than a big human. From the profile they both had four legs as well, perhaps a younger creature. The group was looking to the west and into the afternoon sun when they saw these creatures. If they saw you, they did not react to the groups presence, but they were only visible for a moment.
"Or possibly a Wyvern. Likely with offspring from what I saw. Perhaps we should try and find a spot with both good cover and western visibility and stop for a short while, just in case."

She will pull herself and horses under some tree cover. She keeps alert to any dangers on the ground in case the aerial creatures are working with someone on the ground.
