Sorry, I have not been progressing things as I ought to. I lost momentum a while ago, for reasons, and we've not really got moving again since.

I was waiting for a response from another player, but I will be going ahead with a post tomorrow regardless - the offers by Sal.

I will aim to get out at least one post a week in future, to build progress.

After Sal and Ummiimir pick through the cargo there are other customers who want to examine the slaves.

There is also the opportunity to meet other ship's crews in the rest of the station, or you could just take your money and Jump out.

Pretty much anyone you meet on Blackrock is pirate or pirate adjacent, so there are potential allies.

As to fighting, it’s a poor pirate haven that can’t host a decent bar- brawl

Jumping out raises the question: where to? Plenty of time to think about that, but it boils down to either Oghma, Borite, or Out (via a calculation based on two tattoos).

Some questions:

Sal offered to pay in either gold or Imperial Credits, Ummiimir offered a variety of currencies. What are you taking?

Which slaves are not for sale? I believe Eshergamelat, Rubati and Naditabirus are being retained, are any others to be kept (either as pets or presents) to take back to Oghma?

Imperial credits may be more negotiable (and stable) a currency since we're likely(?) headed into Imperial space but I'm happy to be overruled by any other bid!

It's unlikely you'll be going into Imperial space any time soon - it's a fair old trip, you've no reason to go, and it's dangerous for people like you.

However, Imperial Credits are accepted almost everywhere, and their value is reliably constant, so they're a decent form of portable wealth.

Except where the Imperium is hated, or unheard of...

Please. And Tiv would ask Kar to have all ships officers there and the troops at their best for this visit. He will ask Raven to ensure each of her band gets a chance to see or interact with the Aslans. A bit of “stress inoculation”.
