So, you can buy a goat for 4gp, and a 20’x20’ cargo net constructed of thick rope for 2gp. Long spears are 5gp each, but you could buy wooden poles and sharpen them to a point yourselves for 1gp each.

Once I get a confirmed roster of who will go and who will stay, I will get this rolling.

Scouting Out The Mud Hole

6:15pm, Windy, Dusty, Dry

The Esquimaux-Ixian brothers get a strange, almost guilty look on their faces when Valkrina asks if they have any drums she can play. Both shake their heads no, but Yuka produces a homemade rattle made from dried clam shells tied together with thin twine she can use.

When it is decided that half of the group will head back into Xambaala for the night to purchase supplies, the slaves seem to understand. They ready the shack with three sleeping mats, no more than dried rushes rolled out on the dirt floor. Their family members also staying in the shack are introduced to the remaining party members, but none of them seem overly friendly or talkative to these newcomers.

While Valkrina crafts her percussion instruments, Drest and Akhilleus spend an hour or so looking around the murky pool of the oasis, eventually spotting something watching them from out in the deepest part of the water.

Kang will the the other two into the city where the monk will attempt to purchase a strong net and an old goat. If the others need help with anything else, he will help if he can.
