I've been thinking for a while now hmm this is just a simulation? Kinda feels like we're getting into things pretty in depth for a simulation. :o

Granted more than some of us. I've been pretty less involved as you can tell by the long ooc posts and all that and how little I've actually chimed in.

Not saying I'm not enjoying it. Just saying this kind of feels like a full on game at this stage.

Being new-ish to UnseenServant, what is the Scenario Simulator really? I thought it was just to try out new rules systems without commiting to an entire campaign. Tried to read the meta-posts but didn't really get it...

Well, we do seem to be going in full pelt, particularly compared to the other games here in the simulator (looks around at the other [empty] cubicles).

Of course it might be because Harnmaster is more complicated than the other systems.

Either way, I'm happy.

Oh, is this part of the forum supposed to be an online pbp version of convention scenarios?

(And I enjoy it too!)

We never figured pack weights intentionally so your penalty is without your pack on. I will not require an action to drop it.

As far as the simulation, yes it is. But my intention was always to string the must hit list into a coherent adventure hopefully. Then if some or hopefully all want to continue we can.

Lope adds 2 or 5 to move I think but am at work on my phone so can’t confirm. If you had a decent move defense is better. With a poor move Lope is better.

I think I will change the spell, I'll update his sheet later.

Rex, from those map posts am I right in assuming that the orcs have closed that much space in a single round and so will be one the PCs this round. This would mean they would have a chance of disrupting an invocation?

EDIT: weapon ranges are in hexes?

Sorry I forgot to confirm Lope. It is +2 to Move with MS for 10 minutes, +5 with CS for 30 minutes. It also adds +10/+25 to Dodge.

Yes that move was their first action. If your casting Hug or Lope they take 8 seconds for you to cast, which is 10 seconds or less, so a single round action. Since you go first in the round they wont have a chance to interrupt the casting. If you try and cast a 2 round spell (25-7=18 seconds casting time) they would.

Yes all ranges (weapon, spell, psi) are in hexes.

Some nice rolls so far .

sastaz. You use Throwing (40 ML) for the orb, but you are just trying to get it into the general area not hit someone or an exact spot, so it doesn't require a roll.

So, if I have this right, it is currently the 15th Kelen.

If my research is correct, the 17th-25th Kelen is the Sarajin yearly feast mass. Could be interesting. We have a couple of days to do this and get back to town before Arngeir goes all holy (and drunk).

You are correct. The only Sarajin Clan House (equivalent to a temple) in the Kingdom is in Geda. Which is the other end of the kingdom. The baron is an Ivinian who won the barony in a bet with the previous baron about being strong enough to lift his horse. The King felt if the baron was stupid enough to make a bet with his barony on the line he deserved to loose it. The new baron has brought in a religious clan to establish his faith in his barony. But, as a traveling priest you can hold your celebration anywhere if you can't reasonably get to a clan house.

I am going to give it today for the last action, then I will move it along tonight after work as it has been 3 days. I hope everyone is enjoying the game.

Yes, enjoying it very much :) But I think all players stated their action, right?

Thought I messed up for a minute, which is believable. But Idril's last action was before my last update. She spotted the Orcs with her Awareness check. I know Pulpatoon has been busy with stuff lately so not a big deal.

Algrim has 3 orcs surrounding him. They will be able to engage him next round. Keep in mind that being outnumbered is bad, your EML for any Defense is -10 for each enemy above 1.

Arngeir has 2 orcs surrounding him.

There is a boulder between Algrim and Arngeir and a smoke bomb which is about to make it hard to see.

That leaves 2 orcs that can advance on Turnip and Idril or move in on Algrim or Arngeir. Recall that Orcs hate Dwarves above all else.

Good first round. None of you were injured you got a CS on an invocation and killed an orc.
