Re: Into the Mines
Vesper looks at the damaged wheels with a curious expression. She wonders why they are damaged and by the looks of it, intentionally. She makes note of it but doesn't bother to point it out to the others. They probably wouldn't need the carts, but still the damage did strike her as odd.

You follow the tracks past the first fork and beyond...the tinking sound continues and seems to grow louder...

Re: Into the Mines
Raz shrugs "I don't think any are still down here this far, so to me that sound means trouble ahead and be alert." the gnome takes up his hammer because at least if he is close enough he can throw a hammer at the enemy.

Re: Into the Mines
Sensing trouble ahead, the group proceeds cautiously, deeper into the mines. Along the sides of the hewn walls, thin veins of crystals can be seen. These have been left untouched for the moment as the track proceeds on, eventually turning right, taking the companions to another curve in the track. When their soft footfalls turn the corner, the "tinking" sound suddenly stops.
All is quiet up ahead, and the track is dark; the lanterns either out of oil or having been blown out on purpose...

Re: Into the Mines
Raz will stop and wait to see what Moan discovers sensing that likely it is going to be something bad.

Mag
Mag will pull out a copper piece (marked off) and cast a Light spell on it. "As promised, some light." Mag says as he passes it up if the front row if any would like it.

Re: Into the Mines
Raz will take the coin if nobody else does and hold it up in a semi cupped hand trying to focus the light forward and move up closer to the front.

Re: Into the Mines
Mag uses a simple spell to cast "Light" on a copper piece and passes it forward to Moan who holds it out in front of him and sees the chamber at the end of the track. Discarded picks and tools lie about and there appears to be side tunnels leading off from the main chamber...leading into darkness.

Re: Into the Mines
Raz waits at the end of the march in the passage with the track to see what happens to those scouting.
