OCC Talk
Re: OCC Talk
Some DM's like to have the character sheets posted for everyone to see and others like to keep them private between the player and DM.
Re: OCC Talk
Private forums are in place. Post your characters there and we’ll delete the other thread.
Re: OCC Talk
I'd like to start off with everyone making a post here describing what their character is currently up to in or around the city of Arnolst. We can massage things to make sure we have characters that fit the setting and a group that would be willing to adventure together. Then we can port those descriptions over to the main thread.

Re: OCC Talk
No, I mean here. I’d like to do sort of a session zero here before we move into the IC thread. My previous post could have been worded better.
Re: OCC Talk
I see I was overly cautious with getting the game started. I've seen too many problems with party cohesion and obstructionist characters in play by post games. Guess I've been gaming in the wrong places.
So, while we're waiting for Ogre Mage's character, I'll get the posts moved over to Chapter 1 and we'll be on our way.

Re: OCC Talk
Posts have been moved. I apologize for the confusion.

Re: OCC Talk
No problem I think I was the only one confused since I gave bad directions.

Re: OCC Talk
Normally I would apply ability adjustments by age category at character creation. We have an Old first level character in the game, and that would be a big hit to the ability scores. So in the interest of player fun I'll waive that step.
Re: OCC Talk
We have a full crew of six now. Welcome, Ythgar.

Thanks!
My access to the dice roller needs to be sorted out, but then I’ll get rolled up asap.

Re: OCC Talk
Needless to say, legend-in-his-own-mind Orando is exactly what his Latin surnames mean, so please take him or her in the best and jest of role playing intentions. I find him entertaining, which is the point? And somehow he ended up as the only cleric (multi-classed) in the group.
Maybe they sell healing potions around here.

Re: OCC Talk
I’m leaving this afternoon for a camping trip with my son, we’ll be back next Tuesday. We’ll pick up the story then with the party entering the keep.
