Re: OOC
Just to let you guys know. I pm'd Chris with condolences and queried the game. With a funeral shortly, the game will probably be on hold temporarily for another couple of weeks at least.

Re: OOC
Sorry to just go dark, I just wasn't able to concentrate for a while.
Thanks for all the kind thoughts, too. Bev's funeral was on Tuesday.
I will re-read the last page or so, and my notes, and work on a post. Deadline: Sunday.

I had an unscheduled "I'm not cooking, you are" evening. Restart delayed by a day, sorry.

Re: OOC
It seems I've not been getting notifications of new posts, I'll go back to leaving the current page in an open tab and refreshing.
I'm planning on fast forwarding the feast and moving to the visitors, unless anyone has something to do beforehand.
I should have an update by Thursday evening.

Re: OOC
Remind me, what is for sale? Or, more to the point, what isn't?
Re: OOC
Well, it all be treasure 'arr!
An' we needs the doubloons!
The thing is the average Oghman can't tell the difference between the "shiny" and the merely "shiny".
Raven has a "scientific" test arranged IC.
The "trouble" for a buyer is being able to tell whether the Oghman selling is a merely hyper violent tech inept bumpkin... or the hyper violent variety who has Tiv (with Esharglamet??? for context) reviewing and appraising the stock...
That can lead to issues that go way though caveat emptor and straight into triage...

Re: OOC
Checking:
Currently I'm not getting e-mail notifications of new posts from Unseen Servant, so I'm refreshing open tabs to see updates. Is anyone else getting the standard e-mail alert, or is this a localised issue?
I'm waiting for a response from Gorethirster to a PM, and unusually he has not opened it yet. If the e-mail prompt is down for him too, that is an explanation.
Thanks for the assessment rolls Thumper. I'll work on them this evening.

I learned over my long silence that once you get an email notification you won't get another until you check the relevant thread, no matter how many posts are made. I'm not certain if you have to follow the email link to get the system to recognize you as having viewed the thread though. Maybe there's an old notification you didn't click on that's causing the system to think you've not viewed the thread?

Refreshing a tab removes the in-forum notification for that thread, I assume it works to reset the e-mail too.
I'm still not getting e-mails though. Eh, that happens, sometimes, it'll come back.
I'll post after Remington does (I was going to put something up tonight, but it was a busy, busy day).

As per The Bindoner's last it seems everyone has been through "the churn" of late and have been super busy one way or another - I know I have!

Re: OOC
I've been promoted to Engineseer? Praise the Omnissiah and pass me the red robes!
Re: OOC
Congratulations!
Well "Seer to do with Drives" didn't have the same ring so I couldn't resist the (Mars related) conflation.
Know that there are only 10 types of people in the universe: those who can communicate with the Omnissiah and those who can't!
But... with great power comes great responsibility... and bigger miracles!

Re: OOC
I double checked and assuming nobody changed their minds further up in the thread this post mentions having Ingrid dispose of the Lewisite once we hit orbit:
