Hey All,

Made my first post. Hopefully it's not too far out there. Just trying to get a feel for the character. Looking forward to getting to know you all and your characters.

Not knowing what we are going into we may want to combine our credits and get a water collector.

Rations are 100cr, but it doesn't say how long they last.

That's a good point. We need to get whatever environmental info they have on the planet so we can work out what we will need to survive, e. g. Air filters, environmental cloaks, etc.

Any info we can get would be good. Not sure we can buy much with 200cr but pooling the credits seems a smarter way to do it. Even if we each buy rations at 100cr each that allows us to pool the other 100cr.

Anything depletable can be exhausted on a bad or moderate roll, if that seems like the fun outcome. So rations will last until you flub, say, a survival roll, but only if I think that would be more interesting than having you get stuck in quicksand or having an allergic reaction to the local flora.

What rations would Cosmos need? Being a robot, I wouldn't think it would be water/food. Perhaps something else?

If Cosmos doesn't require any significat rations it would agree to sharing a larger sum of its credits for the benefit of the group and the mission. Including buying water/food for those who need it.

I forgot about the robots. If they need something we should make sure to cover that as well. A small generator maybe?

The Synthetic extraordinary ability means that you don't need to eat or breathe.

However, if you want to work differently, we could work something out! It could be that you have bio-gel components that require air and nutrients. Or it could be that running out of juice is a regular concern, and you need to haul powerplant around with you. Taking one of these options would negate the benefit of the Synthetic ability, and I'd rule that you could then take a new Extraordinary ability.

I'm trying to get each post to carry you guys to the next meaningful choice (something I didn't quite accomplish with today's post), and these early posts require a lot of table-setting before I can, say, throw a carnivorous squid at your character and ask you what you do about it.
