The Bishop thinks a moment and says, "I doubt it is much more than a day's inconvenience for you, but the Church will pay you 40 gold pieces for the successful completion of the job."

"Or, how about 20 gold pieces and 2 healing potions? if you'd rather have that. Two potions before you go and 20 gold when you return with a satisfactory result?"

"Is this something that you might be interested in undertaking?" he turns his head and asks you with a sly smile.

"I think this might be something my people might be ibterested in. I will warn you, they might ask for minir magix assistance or something. Speaking of which, would the Spellbook be something I could look at, or is it too advanced? Darian

"The Spellbook might be too advanced in some ways even for me!" chuckles Warhan, "I'm sure a minor spell or two might come your way if you succeed at this job, though.

He adds, "Tony will be going with you and I'll be sending a few scrolls along with him."

As an after thought he also adds, "Oh, and anything other than that Spellbook, or major artifact, you bring back will be yours to keep as I have little interest in trinkets or gold and silver except for where they can advance my arcane knowledge."

The warrior glances at Des. "We might be wise to accept the potions."

Frank and Magdal (and maybe Callista if Bob will respond), walk over to the Public Room and look around. The Job Board is easy enough to find and you see:

1. Joshal Kremer needs someone to pick up a package at Maiden's Neck Village in Darkwood from someone named Salvassa and is offering 20 gold pieces when you return...with the package. Contact at Smoke and Mirrors Emporium off the Market Square.

2. Bishop Pasco Gilbrand is seeking a party to investigate rumors of restless dead in the cemetery northwest of Elsburg. Contact at Church of the Moon, Elsburg.

3. Somebody needed to take a cart to Dinsmoor and pick up some goods. Good pay. Talk to Mary at Potions & Lotions.

"Gillian talked about Old Mary needing somebody to take a cart to Dinsmoor, when we asked her if there were any jobs around here. I don't know anything about the other two." Frank says looking at the three pieces of parchment, "Can't say I'm enthused about dealing with 'restless dead', though."

Callista nods wordlessly and follows them back, having accompanied them without saying a word (as she often does.) At some point, she seems to say to no one in particular, "Work from the inside out. (pause) Makes sense."

Valerin is enjoying what might be his last good meal at the Last Dish and Spoon...if he doesn't earn some money. Des and Eodrien have gone over to look at the Jobs Board in the Public Room and Darrian has disappeared saying he's going to check the horses at the stable and visit with his halfling friend Tony at the Wizard's tower.

Frank, Callista and Magdal have joined Valerin at the table. As they finish their breakfast they note that the trio of Des, Eodrien and Darrian have been missing for a good while now.

Frank stretches and says, "That was a fine meal, but I'm pretty much skinn't now so the next order of business it to find a job."

"The serving girl Gillian said there's a job board over in the Public Room where jobs are posted." Frank adds as he pushes back his chair and stands, "Anybody want to walk over there with me and see what's on offer?"

Valerin say "I'll go with! I have this unreasonable need to eat regularly" He grins at Frank.
