There are three main options, with variations.
Orbit
A ship can remain in space and transfer cargo and personnel to and from Blackrock either by its own sub-craft or using drones hired from the station. Taxi drones are 50Cr, cargo is 10Cr per dT.
Lotus Blossom is in orbit
Surface
A ship can land on the surface of Blackrock and access the interior from there. A cargo hauler is provided and simple accommodation and storage facilities are included at the landing pad. There is a weekly 100Cr fee for using a landing pad. There are ten 500dT pads and four 1000dT pads.
(Rosethorn, Tovulldzong Ozhuen, Lady Ice and now Noadiah and Dragonfly, are parked on external pads.)
Taxi drones cost 10Cr from pads and large-capacity cargo hauler rental 5Cr per dT.
Power and fuel connections are available, for a fee.
A foil dome to shield the ship from sensors (and sight) can be hired for 200Cr
A ship could land on the surface without charge, but the ship must be well away from the official landing pads.
Hangar
A ship can dock in one of the hangars. There are twelve 500dT and two 1000dT capacity spaces. (twenty-four 500dT and eight 1000dT hangars were destroyed long ago. Some of the craters from that destruction now house landing pads). The hangars are pressurised and provide a shirt-sleeve environment. Power, fuel and Life Support connections are available for a fee. Some off-ship accommodation, an office and cargo-handling and storage facilities are included as part of the hangar space.
A 500dT hangar costs 500Cr per week. Only favoured clients are given permission to dock in hangars.
Access to the public facilities on Blackrock is free, but private space must be rented.
All business transacted on or through the station incurs a 5% commission payable by the vendor to the station.
An office is 10Cr per hour, 50Cr a day, 250Cr per week.
A simple retail space is 20Cr an hour, 100Cr a day and 500Cr a week, plus 5% commission to the station.
Slave trading is conducted either privately or in an auction room (an auction may generate higher prices than a private sale for in-demand merchandise, or it can be used to sell off unwanted stock for whatever the market will pay).
There are slave holding areas available to rent adjacent to the auction room, to facilitate showing merchandise. A section of 20 cells with a display room and office costs 750Cr per week, including basic Life Support (air, water, sanitation, two simple meals per cell per day).
Warehouse space, with attached office, is available for those who prefer to show clients their cargo off-ship. Rental is 500Cr per week for a 100dT cargo hold with office.

A compilation of notes about Blackrock is here (since all PCs have visited these notes are "common knowledge"):

Re: OOC
I had been pausing while Thumper/Tiv was otherwise engaged, but he tells me it seems likely he's going to be busy IRL for weeks.
Rather than hold the game 'til then, we'll land the Serpent and I'll NPC his character until he is able to return.
However, I think it's better for Thumper to write the meeting of Tiv and the crew himself, so I'm keeping him as just a "voice on the comm" for now. He'll be sending you buyers from off-screen.
Which means, whenever you're ready, decide what facilities you want to use (hangar/pad/orbit, office, cells, hotel rooms or whatever) and we'll move on.

What sidearms and melee weapons are carried on BlackRock? Is it an open carry society bearing in mind the reputations of traders here?
He equips himself with whatever he is authorised to bear.
Law Level 0, no restrictions on weapons, just repercussions for useRe: Blackrock Notes

There are no restrictions on the carrying of personal weapons at Blackrock.
So long as fights between visitors confine themselves to the belligerents, the station security does not intervene. Exchanges of gunfire in public areas that endanger other visitors, damage to the facilities or the use of destructive weapons provoke the security 'droids to respond with stunners and tranq.

It depends on the impression you want to give, and to whom. A pirate and a merchant will view the same weapons differently, and adjust their opinion accordingly.
Don't damage the station facilities, or customers not directly involved in the "robust discussion", and you'll be fine.

Re: OOC
The new character is joining us, Thumper has a day or two free in his schedule, so we're using it to introduce Tiv.
The serpent will need to set up an account to pay for the hangar, and anything else. You captured 19,000Cr Imperial in cash from Zinat's cellar, so you can transfer funds. Anything unspent will be returned.
If you prefer to keep the cash then a representative of Blackrock will assess the cargo you have for sale and offer credit based on their valuation, payable ,along with the 5% commission, when it is sold.
There is a security room between the hangar complex and the rest of the station. The Serpent can link to it and the Officer of the watch can monitor/control access from the Bridge.

You were contacted by Ummiimir with the offer of help an hospitality:#142 Post by Bluetongue » Thu Mar 10, 2022 7:39 pm
Arnwulf
Were we scheduled to be received by Ummiimir and taken to a welcome meal by him? Or am I getting that mixed up?
I don't believe that offer was formally accepted because his credentials were queried.105 Post by The Bindoner » Wed Feb 09, 2022 9:06 pm
A communication from Blackrock arrives. It is a video of a smartly dressed man sitting in an office. There are various art objects of various cultures in the room around him. He smiles and, in passable Oghman, says:
Kveðja, Skeppare of the Ásgeirr ship Cunning Serpent. Congratulations on a successful expedition. I am Ummiimir, and I am authorised by Lord Hallsteinn to assist you in your visit to Blackrock. You and your officers must be my guests for a celebratory meal when you arrive. If you need help with the formalities of docking, trading your cargo, or simply finding your way around, I will be happy to arrange things for you. My credentials will follow. My contact details are included, if you have any queries or requests that you would prefer to be discrete. I can also be contacted through the Blackrock datanet.
That transmission ends and another arrives. It is data rather than audio/visual, and in an Oghman format. The Serpent automatically stores it in a local memory cache of the Comm suite, quarantined from the main computers.
The offer is still available, however.

Sorry to be presumptuous about Kar's reply to Tiv's request for access to the bridge. I have a small window of opportunity to engage on what may be a cool plot point driving near-term decisions...if this jar has what I think in it.

It's fine.
I think.
If either object, I'm sure they'll tell you.

I am trying hard to play Tiv as if he does not know of Ashildr's knowledge. The Bindoner wrote: ↑Fri Feb 11, 2022 9:41 pmby Bluetongue » Fri Feb 11, 2022 6:09 am

"He is keen to make a good impression. Win us over with his fawning and food. Anyone know much about him. Ever dealt with him before?"
Áshildr :
I’ve seen him. And that little piece he works with, Soraia. They were at Hallsteinn’s estate one time, and I was sent to meet them at Blue. Saw them at Acis too, another time. They trade in secrets. He sold us the itinerary of the ship Many-Names was on.
She pauses, and gives a hard stare around the Bridge: I have just told you secrets. Do not repeat them, or I will have to do things you will regret. Catching Raven's glare: What? To their reputation for honesty, so no-one believes them, not kill them.

Apologies, I meant to post, but I've been organising for a sudden trip to visit a sick relative.
I'll try to reply, but I'm going to be a mix of distracted and offline for a few more days.
Upside, a couple of long train journeys. Perhaps I'll get some writing done?

Well, I wasn't able to think about the game while I was travelling, or for a day after.
I'll try to get back in the saddle over the next day or so.
Sorry for the poor GMing, IRL stuff.

Thanks for the support.
My sister died tonight, so I’m afraid I won’t be updating the game for a little bit.
