Ambergris

Looks up at the guards on the wall. He leans in his spear and tilts his tricorn hat with his hook hand.

"Fine specimens you are. Now if ye gentlemen can give a little ribaldery than you can take some too. See my hook hand, I made a pact with the dark ones and they took my hand. Now everything it touches turn to rot and decay. See, yonder it creeps to swat your own fine booties and balls. Now open the door lest it takes all, lock and keys and scrotum and crushes it in a bony hand."

Ambergris Intimidation proficiency skill roll [1d20+2]=8+2=10

He speaks an invokes his mage hand which at the limit of range, creeps along the crenellated walls, giving the middle finger to the guards

(It is brought forward visually as a skeletal left hand).

He threatens a guard that unless we are let in, the hand might go 'awandering ...'

Tommy tries to intervene...

look im sure we look odd but Mr.Klim has been through a lot these last few days, he was kidnaped and tortured and his family is very concerned, you can walk with us to his estate and for sure there wont be a need to file a complaint for the guards not finding him sooner let alone doubting his word, theres no need for things to escalate im sure you can empathize with what he's been through, just walk with us and you'll get all the proof you need

The guard gives Tommy a once-over and then whispers to his fellow guardsmen, and finally says, "What the hell."
And the gate opens leading into the eastern edge of the Upper City.
Flowers bloom along the tree-lined streets, ushering away any stray miasma that escapes from the less fortunate quarters below.
Everything in the Upper City speaks of privilege and wealth. Magical lights illuminate the clean-swept streets, some bearing enchantments that hold back the river fog.
Klim steps through and the three guards step in behind him, barring the way for his rescuers. "Only patriars in the Upper City without a token. That's the rules," the guard of the Watch says sternly. "Unless this patriar will vouch for you."

Klim Jhasso looks at the guards of the Watch and then at his rescuers...and he smiles.
"I had business in the Lower City that took me longer than expected. These men followed me to the gate. I really do not know them or their intent."
He smiles again and turns to go.

The guards let him go and still stand at the gate. "Step back now. Don't be causing any trouble tonight."

Tommy smiles and steps back hands raised making sure he shows he is no threat to the guards while his mind reaches out to Klim Jasso.....
telepathic speech to Jasso - "Klim Jasso..... are you sure you want to double cross this cat's path....it doesn't take much to show some gratitude...."

Tommy looks at Klim for a few moments (if he keeps walking he won't make a scene but will continue to harass and threaten Klim telepathically--bane remembers....etc)

Ambergris

Unfurls his hammock-net, casting it at the ungrateful man. He doesn't snare him with this attempt but he had rolled up the plate armour gauntlets, at least one still in his net. Maybe it will box him around the ears.

Ambergris to hit with net at disadvanatge [1d20+4]=3+4=7 [1d20+4]=17+4=21

"Ah, a slippery eel, slinking back into the mud. You bottom feeder!" he insults Klim.

The trio of heroes return to the bathhouse after the events of the night before. They are confused, but healthy and ready to tackle whatever lies before them. There is a new attendant in the bathhouse and she asks them their business and what exactly they are looking for. But, they know there is a secret entrance to the levels below, and they rebuff her, open the secret door, and descend into the tunnels below the bathhouse...

Marching order and any light sources?

Tommy establishes mental communication with his companions
same as before? It worked well enough....
he crouches and starts to move silently 25 ft ahead of his companions (this allows him to be isolated from any attention they might bring while being close enough for then to come in an help, he carries no light source relying on his dark vision)

OOC
his intention is to return where they left off and returns to the torture chamber carefully listening in case some new threat moved in
perception Perception: [1d20+4]=1+4=5
stealth Stealth: [1d20+5]=16+5=21
if he makes it to the torture chamber, he picks up the robes he was using for his decoy unseen servant

Ambergris

Follows, he holds his spear in his good hand. He can cast an invocation to give himself 'Devil's Sight', which allows him to see in normal and magical darkness up to 120'ft.

He has his entangling net over his shoulder. He carries a lantern in his hook hand which he can put down at a moment's notice.

Lesh follows Ambergris keeping a sharp lookout (passive perception 15) with his shield in one hand and a javelin in the other. He thinks briefly about the prisoner they rescued cursing silently to himself before he returns to worrying about the hospital...

Several blocks to the northwest. The bathhouse is in Heapside; the hospital in Brampton.

Ambergris

The hook-hand would be interested in the Suit of Armour's gauntlets that attacked him. I netted one before with an intention to take them away to study though I don't think that was ever effected.

the idea was he might be able to cause their attack mechanism to manifest himself through his warlock prowess.

So, if they are still there he will approach with caution. We left the two bodies behind too. Are they still undiscovered?

The bodies of the dead lie where the heroes left them, the rats have been at them, but otherwise, they are undisturbed (as were the bodies of the necromites in the other room). The other gauntlet lies on the floor as well; it is easy for Ambergris to retrieve it. From his study of the other gauntlet, it seems their "magic" came from being connected to the suit of armor. It doesn't appear to go with them once removed.

Tommy moves quietly to the steps leading south...seeing the corridor beyond filled with water, but steps rising out of them and leading to a door.

Pouches the gauntlets. They might fetch a pretty penny, plated and mailed as they are.

He follows Tommy, wary of unseen threats and more cultists and undead.

To clarify, before I post > Tommy is several feet ahead of Ambergris and Lesh...right? Or is Ambergris and Lesh fairly close behind Tommy?
No light sources? Can Lesh see in the dark? I'm assuming so, just asking for clarification.
