As Yrias reveals the stone, Allissa nods. "Interesting. You found it? Have you ever been contacted, or had urges to do something? Look somewhere?"

"But yes, that's about right."

"Come on people! We need to trust each other, who else has found one of the stones? We can do lots of things, but we need to deal with this first."

"I hate to do this, but you saw what happened to Luther, and I may have similar requirements. Can I get a hard yes or no from everyone?"

Sorry to keep harping on this, but Allissa really needs to be sure before she can move forward.

Yrias doesn't have a stone, he has a sphere.

And now I really wish I would have created items that were not quite so similar.

"But you know, now that I see it closer, that's an activation sphere. It's bigger than the Momma stones, see?" She points, invisibly, to the stone she dropped. "Ah, right. Well, it's on the ground there."

As I understand, the activation spheres are fist-sized or so, and the Momma stones are easily concealable in your palm.

The Next Decision

After a lengthy discussion about the difference between the small stones that some of the group received from the demon witch and the fist sized perfectly spherical magic activation spheres, the party switches the topic to finding Luther and Amun.

Kegs eyes go wide when he hears the Princess tell him that, between the two of them, they probably have the means to pay the 500gp fare for every person in Clifftown who wants to leave the island. (you figure that would be roughly about 50 people willing to leave the others behind)

TK continues to spew his nonsensical jargon, not really answering any questions towards him seriously in the least, as is his way.

Though plenty of suggestions are voiced, the Clifftown group remains where they are.

As Daisy listens to The Knife, her eyes begin to glaze over- this poor boy is confused- and confusing!!

We got time pressure on us. Ah don't know 'bout the rest of ya'll, but Ah'm in no fit shape to go anywhere but the latrine an' my bunk. Unless someone's got some potent healing to give me, Ah won't be of any help until at least tomorrow- maybe the next day.

"First I have no stones and had not even heard of Momma until we got back from the lizard raid. If any doubt The Knife, don't I've been with him from the ship until now, and he and the other Knife are not plotting against anyone. I would urge you to come out quickly if you do have anything from this woman. We need to be rid of those objects then plan our next move as those that went through the portal probably need our aid."

He raises an eyebrow at The Knife's rant but doesn't say anything.

Then, when he realizes in his conversation with invisible Allissa that his is an activation sphere, he says: "Hm." Then takes it back, looks at it with curiosity, and puts it back in his belt pouch.

He next turns to Daisy: "I'll help healing you, but I'll need to rest for a night here before we move."

He goes back to where he was, crosses his arms again and says: "Now. Again. Does anyone know where to start?

After an appropriate amount of time waiting for anyone to come clean, she speaks up.

"Ok. I'm going to hold everyone to this. Nobody else has a Momma stone, good." She pauses and gathers herself before continuing. "I'm not sure where Luther and uh, Amun? are, but I know where Momma was. At the waterfall. The Dragon, long story there, confirmed that she is a Demon and that she must be destroyed. Again, I've been asked...no, told to kill her. The Dragon gave me a ride back here so I could gather a force to do so."

"Destroying the obelisks is a bad idea. They have something to do with the integrity of the island and are integral. I suspect that if she has control of even half of them, things will go quite badly for everyone here. She is not native to the Island, she came here afterward as we did possibly drawn by the power."

Allissa starts pacing, her voice moving back and forth. "I hear the concern about Quark, I do, but it sounds like we could simply bribe him for more time while we deal with Momma. I'm thinking a large force, and we need to convince the splinter natives to join us. I would also like to have a full roster when we do, the Dragon stated bluntly that she is much more powerful than Gorman. And believe me, that was no picnic."

"I'd like to leave in the morning after spells can be regained. In the meantime, who knows anything about where everyone else is?"

She finishes talking, waiting for questions, and wanders over to whisper to Maag.

"I saw how my sister glanced at you earlier. It seems that we should talk, I'm betting there's much we have in common."

Keg nods to the Princess. Let's see to it that anyone that wants off gets off. He then stops to consider something else. Do you remember that weird stone in the pile? You think that is one of these other stones they are talking about? Where do you have it?

Liam looks please that Daisy has been given some help and looks around for any takers for an expedition to the Olblisks. Remember that the temple where the first oblisk is had a pair of mummies inside. We need to be ready for them if we head to that one, but it is the nearest one I know of. Anyone have any other ideas for where to start? If these stones have something to do with them, we had best get on with it, figuring out what is going on here.

Keg looks over at the old man again and grumbles. Knock. Them. Down.

Daisy stands much straighter after her healing. Thank you, darlin' . Ah'll be ready to go in the morning, mahself. As far as where- Ah'd suggest we start with the Village.
Ah don't s'pose the Dragon would help with finding or fighting Her?

*AFTER* the discussion is done, and plans are made, Daisy will start scrounging for materials to re-create her First Aid kit: Needle and thread, clean cloths for bandages, splints, any healing herbs she can find.

"We found a cloth with a map of the layout of the obilisks and the locations where the orbs must be placed, didn't we?" The Knife looks around at Keg, Yrais and Wake. "Who was carrying it? It looked something like this." He starts to sketch the layout of the diagram in the sand.

When he's finished his sketch, he pauses for a moment and cocks his head to one side. What's that? Yes, you're right. I hadn't noticed that." The Knife looks up at the others. "The Knife just pointed something out about the diagram. These obilisks were supposedly built by a mysterious wizard a very long time ago, right? But the map shows that two of the obilisks are activated. Which happened in the last couple of weeks. Which means that note was written and placed there recently too."

"Does that mean the wizard is out there monitoring our progress? And is he directing us to the Fun House and Water obilisk next?

He then looks over as Wake hold up a hand with the green orb and nods. That's as good a lead as any... Maybe we should head that direction to start with on our way to the Fun House. Hopefully take care of two in one trip.

He turns to her and nods. That's a real good question. I for one want to know too. We still have a luther to rescue... or confirm dead. he said rufully. I think that is the most immediate need. Once we deal with that we are either coming back here to regroup or can head out from the village on our way out to the oblisk or the center to see what we can find.

" A divine spirit sent you here? Hhhmmm! It sounds like you were duped into coming to find me, Max. And likely by some simulacrum or other illusion concocted by that dolt Wendall himself! Hhhmmm! That old man is sure to have set up plenty of tricks and traps in my absence. Eeeerrrhhhmmm! It was his way, after all."

"So someone is still around and manipulating us. It sounds like the Fun House is going to be anything but fun too".

"I think we obviously have to try and rescue Luther and Amun first. She risked her life to save me from the wasp riders."

"We're many. Maybe we could split in two groups. Each with its own cleric." He nods at Wake. "That's if sister Daisy decided to stay here, of course. If not, she's more powerful than both of us. Then she can go with one group, while Wake and me with the other group. I've got another piece of cloth showing the obelisks and I wouldn't mind parting with it if it's put to good use, so that each group has one.
