No worries, the game pace is fine with me. I know some weeks we get everyday updates and others less frequently. So many threads to manage for you so patience should be a given.

Hi guys, sorry. Of all things I have had to work a couple of days with my racing syndicate at a festival. Anyway, I will catch all the threads up by tomorrow evening.

Cheers.

Are Strength bows available? Are magical bows considered to be Strength bows naturally? In Durgo's case this would be what he'd really like.. Grin. If they even exist in this campaign.
Strength bows? You mean a non-magical bow that adds your strength bonus in the damage it outputs? Specialist equipment, rather than 'off-the-shelf' items may be crafted.

Certainly the dwarven forge can enhance the properties of metal weapons or armour, the village seamstresses weave enchanted garb using harvested spider silk and Moriartus has met a local elf ranger/bowyer who crafts superior archery gear.

It would seem that you could take a crafted strength bow and then make it magical. Thus, having magical strength bows as unique treasure in any animal's treasure horde potentially. Thanks for clarifying.

Well certainly I want to encourage players to invest in their characters and for fighters, obviously as you advance you can gain extra weapons of proficiency or determine to specialise in a specific weapon.

So crafting your own bow, investing time in securing the best seasoned wood, spider silk enhanced bowstring, training targets, fletching arrows with fantastic feathers; all that can contribute to gaining a bonus to your attack rolls.

Such weapons also make great tribute items for other characters and the villagers to remember you by ...

I will be attending Garycon this weekend, so my time on here will be limited for the next 4 or 5 days.

I will try to keep up with the action in our thread, but please don't wait for a post from me, just in case I am face down in the gutters of Lake Geneva somewhere.

Ha!

Thanks guys!

It's about 40 degrees out here today, so I would think if there are any, they would be freezing their fuzzy little tails off.

Rex what have you been seeing for temps lately? I've had it almost 50 for a high the first 2-3 days this week.

Last week was pretty warm. This week the highs have been low 30's. Not terrible for this time of year. But one of my employees is in Alaska this week so I am hearing about -32 temps so skews my view a little I suppose.
