What? No props for the XO for opening the crate?
I missed this, sorry.
I'll give you respect for figuring out the puzzle. Nice simple solution, how'd you think of it? Saved a lot of effort.
Re: Asides and Public Discussion about the game (Part 1)
Indrani will be sure to recognize his efforts - that was a good catch.

FYI...
M.C.D
M.G.P
Combat Ribbon for 3rd Crater War
Combat Ribbon for Siege of Faith
Good Conduct Discharge
(n.b. All current players who have served in the armed forces of their country will have one of these tucked away somewhere!)

One last note...After this latest interlude, the Queen is now technically space-worthy...OK the computer needs fixing but there is no other material issue outstanding.

It was delivered to us without comment, the keypad password wound not be 1,2,3,4, it was me kinda going off half cocked and trying something cliché, Im glad it worked.The Bindoner wrote: ↑Fri Feb 04, 2022 7:37 pm

Would one of you like to start/administer a "Ships Locker" thread?
That can then be the official list of what is in that cabinet of curiosities!
Alternatively I could start a page on the wiki which anyone could update - though you'd need a Wiki login to do so without revealing your IP address.

As a point of etiquette on Sparks, please note that carrying concealed weaponry is generally considered to be the habit of a scoundrel. It casts one as the lowest form of rock-hopper, gangster, etc.
You are perfectly permitted to carry a belt knife or holstered weapon - indeed some (Captains, Guards, Uniformed Leaders) may be expected to do so.
n.b. The South Port Yacht Harbour is an establishment for the better class of Yachtsman and generally prefers to exclude the rougher elements of society. The Queen is temporarily admitted because she is an Heroic Ship worthy of recognition and the refuge of Noor en Sabah - not because she is the yacht of a member.

Okay, so we can go with holstered pistols. That works.BackworldTraveller wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 8:28 am As a point of etiquette on Sparks, please note that carrying concealed weaponry is generally considered to be the habit of a scoundrel. @ateno
Pranit strikes me as a straight laced military type. Is that a good read? Or at least that’s what’s been presented to Thacho as of right now?
@joertexas
The same is true of Indrani?
@The Bindoner
Nalani is colorful and stands out, yeah?
@Monsieur Rose
Noor looks and has a professional air, but frazzled? Stressed?
And I’ve not yet met Reven of Maggie.

Indrani seems to be comfortable with her mantle of command - she is good-humored and seems to respect the others.

Maggie has her boarding dirk in a dress scabbard, and a military dress outfit. If it is good enough for the embassy...

Though administering the Weapons locker is something I could do, I would prefer this option.BackworldTraveller wrote: ↑Sat Feb 12, 2022 8:04 am Alternatively I could start a page on the wiki which anyone could update - though you'd need a Wiki login to do so without revealing your IP address.

And as far as you know the unofficial interview is still going till he gets the result from you references and background check

Mostly. She has a smart monochrome businesswoman look too. She rarely wears the same ensemble twice, and changes frequently - including hair and nails (she has machines to do that).TheFallenSon wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 1:07 am

Currently, she is in ship-board Jumpsuit with bleach-blonde hair and too much make-up.
@GM
Is the ammo in the storage container compatible with Nālani's weapon, and how much is there?

Yes - Fleet Standard 9mm Pistol/SMG rounds. It's a box of 96 but 9 are missing - so 87 rounds. See ID-90 SMGThe Bindoner wrote: ↑Mon Feb 14, 2022 3:17 pm @GM

Noor is professional but tries to take things lightly. She is currently running for her life and has had three or four professional hit squads come after her.
Stressed is a good word. She does her best to carry on, but sometimes the cracks show.

I’m not sure the pair in the hotel were professional! Enthusiastic amateurs more like!Monsieur Rose wrote: ↑Tue Feb 15, 2022 4:20 pm Noor is professional but tries to take things lightly. She is currently running for her life and has had three or four professional hit squads come after her.
