Re: Helix village.
Sven waits for Gerdal to conclude her business before setting his stained glass ink pots on the counter next.
“I think these glass vials are fancy ink pots that would decorate an upmarket desk. Since I have no need for opulence in my life, would you care to make me an offer on these as well?”

Rosy Quartz Jewellers
"How about twenty five gold for them all. Vials are usually a gold apiece, ink is the expense but these have pretty stained glass and lead panes inset with gold filigree."

“Hmmmmm. Nice. I didn’t even notice the gold……”
“Make it 30 coins and they are all yours.”

"Hmmm ... perhaps I should go exploring and you buy the shop.
Ok. Because I am in a festive mood and your cheek sparkles as much as the lady's smile, 30 gold it is."

Sven displays his dimples and completes the transaction.
“And finally, we found something that even you might not know much about, but I would like your opinion anyway.”
Sven shows the items they found on the Nergal crew, specifically the priests linen ephod of decorated tiles.
“Have you ever seen anything like this before? Seems a little….ummm……unwholesome?”

"Well, it will improve on those sackcloth rags last worn to scare the crows.
A priestly garb. The tiles might represent certain groups or traits. Love, joy, peace. Or rather contempt and married life. Hmm.
The priests might know. Probably
Brother Gamdar is best, might be something he used to wear before he converted and saw the Light."
The garments are not an area he specialises in.

“I will try the good brother then. As always, thank you for your help, Gur.”
As he makes for the exit, he stops with an inquisitive look.
“Hey, since holy water is so expensive, does unholy water have any value? I’m not sure if I should ask the priest about that stuff or not.”

"What would it take to have it made into magic chain mail armor?"
Re-post, I think this was missed.

this one was missed as well
Sometime after their return, Sven checks in on the progress of their tapestry at the weavers, hoping it looks as good as advertised.
Bringing the priests garb they found on Knievel’s group, Sven will ask the weavers about those garments as well.

Re: Helix village.
I will think about separating more threads
The Axe and Anvil Forge
Karl Barrelgut strikes his long and colourful braids, tucking them into his belt.
"Saw another dwarf walking the village in some ancient mail, enhanced in properties. I can craft certain unique qualities into the metals over time. But it takes time. Normal made to measure chain, dwarven chain I can hammer out in a month. You being a bit on the larger size might take an extra week. But you are talking thousands for superior wear. But you are supplying some material compounds, so then that reduces costs. But not time.
I will have to think but I can initially quote around 1500gp."
the DMG lists magic chain around 3500gp

I agree, you are doing a great job, some needs to be on us to supply reminders.

House of Valeron
Barely a week has passed but the work has progressed on schedule. The threads, silky and new are threaded in careful handwoven fashion with golden eye needles and sterile equipment. You have confidence they are delivering the performance and timescale as quoted. Before you leave again, Gerdal cast spend time with the weavers and use her newly learned Mending spell to help facilitate the enchanted cleaning and refurbishment.
Looking at the robes worn by Knievel and the ephod linens, they are not familiar garb. The priests one is most certainly cultic, used in ceremony and rituals no doubt. The studded garb worn by the mage seems more created to give that intimidating presence and aura. It is not magical but would function as basic leather or hide armour.

Re: Helix village.
Sven asks for a price on sewing the cool decorative metal studs and spikes into his own leather coat, combining the coolest parts of Knievel’s armor with his own.
“I am in no hurry for the job to be completed, you see. It could be started once the tapestry is finished. I don’t want you to pull anyone off of that project.”

Sure. Another one of the cottage seamstresses could take the commission. Call it 3gp and pick it up in three days. Studs arranged around the wrists of both sleeves to reinforce the vambrace area and spikes ringing the collar in a single line like a gothic dog collar. Across each shoulder, from collar bone to shoulder plate are studs rivetted in a square formation.

The Rosy Quartz Jewellers
Isvand stops into the Jeweller's shop, and after talking to them for a while asks for an estimated value for the uncut sapphire (knowing that it should be in the range of 100gp) as well as the uncut emerald. After getting estimates for current value, he'll enquire what it would cost to get them cut, and how much it might enhance their value.

Isvand visits the appraiser, hoping to strike it rich.
The sapphire skeleton gemstones have a set 100gp value each.
As to the emerald, "Nice, green blaze and radiant hues, Chip on that facet edge needs grinding. I'll make you a good offer."
Isvand's uncut emerald value [1d4+1]=3+1=4 x100gp
400gp

Thank you, thank you! Most informative! I think I shall hold onto these as they are for the time being! I hate being in debt and can't quite afford the cutting and polishing yet! after a moment's consideration, he asks What sorts of trinkets do you have for sale? Goal is to convert about 75-100gp into gems/jewelry
