The Long Sleep
After the strange naps are over, other than being dry and full, there is no indication how long the group was unconscious. However, when they look at the nearby fruit trees, they see almost no more low hanging fruit to be picked. How many of the odd globes they devoured during their slumber may remain a mystery.
Though everyone feels refreshed and stronger, the oppressive unknown surrounding you continues to gnaw at your senses. The strange giggling noises coming from the treetops seems to have abated, although the unintelligible whispers are still heard. Perhaps it is all only a figment of your imagination, because the curious runegraver gets no reply to any of his harks.
When Xenos mentions the Isle of Mu, Hakon raises an eyebrow. Even if it is likely that this truly is the small uncharted island, what could any of them do about it now? The only known fact about Mu is that it is as ancient and mysterious as Hyperborea itself. Once thought to be 10 times larger, after sinking in some unknown catastrophe, the place remains shrouded and hidden from the mainland, and likely for good reason.
In the dim green glow of this bizarre, hidden yet somehow well tended underground garden, the stronger and braver party will need to decide what they will do to escape this place, if there is any escape for them at all. One thing each of them does soon realize is that their strange idols that guided them here have all gone dormant, no longer emitting the oddities they had shewn earlier.
Actions?
Still waiting on a couple sheets to be finished, but I wanted to get things moving again here before anyone wanderer away.
