I mean, this was also the only thing we've done that's hurt Petr. Even Emile's blessed six-shooter didn't seem to help.

I need to post Taavi's action, but I'm at a loss for an idea for what he can do to help the situation.

I think we all need to get out and try to contain the space. Then we need to heal and rescue the kid.

I don't suppose Taavi can do Suppress Cognition on Petr again this scene? If he could, would the "no violence" effect of the first one he did end and be replaced by a second effect? I'm guessing the answers are "No" and "N/A," but wanted to ask.

He can.

It is limited by commitment of Effort. He can use it on successive rounds to block different thoughts and all blocks last to the end of the scene.

It looks like I'll get my offset print SWN by the end of Jan.

Super excited.

This is the WWN one for comparison (I didn't buy this one, but am considering it.)

The latest update states that he ordered an extra 1,000 +/- copies for his website if non-backers want to get in on it.

All, I found the listing with the lab tech in in (aug 26), but am away from my computer - and my SwN book - for another week of Hawaii. I’ll definitely get all the spare batteries from the killdozer, but I don’t know if the other items are worth radiation exposure. I’ll defer to others on that. Hansel is definitely willing to take a run through the radiation if there are worthwhile items. The grav cycles sound cool!

Edit: just realized I could redownload from drivethru

Do the PCs regain hit points before setting out from the barn? I found this in the rules:
Creatures that have suffered damage but have not
been mortally injured regain hit points equal to their
hit dice or character level after each night of good rest.

Yes. Since you are 2nd level, you gain +2hp per night of rest. I am giving two for the 24 hours.

The section above that applies to everyone BUT Taavi, who is the only one not mortally wounded in the fight. For the rest, they would be in fragile condition for a month on this TL3 planet with no Natural healing except for Balygyr's magic and that Nora had some TL4 Lazarus Patches.

Sorry, I lost track about Sheriff Skender's old flame. Would that be Sister Anja? Edited: No, scratch that. Anja's paramour was Teo Hrask.

Old rules vs Rev Deluxe :

old rues have this skill ::

Tech (Specialties)
This skill is broken down into several specialties, and is required for building or repairing that variety of technology.

Astronautic: Anything on or related to spacecraft comes under the astronautic heading, including spike drives, life support systems, and ship gunnery.

Maltech: Forbidden technology such as bio- or nano-warfare tech, unbraked AI development, or weapons of planetary destruction. Medical: Surgery, first aid, disease treatment, cybernetics, and
biological utility organisms.

Postech: Mechanical and electronic technology developed after the Scream, including almost all of the technology in use on modern frontier worlds.

Pretech: Advanced technology dating from before the Scream, often requiring manufacturing techniques that are no longer available on the frontier.

Psitech: Repairing and building technology that interfaces with a psychic’s psionic powers. This tech is almost unknown in the present day, and normally found only in the form of recovered
artifacts.

Yes - one of the biggest changes for Revised is a dramatic reduction in Skills. All of those are now encapsulated in the single Fix skill.

All those subspecialties are still relevant to the setting, though. All those kinds of tech still exist in the universe (perhaps just not on this planet. :) )
