The devices could possibly be communication devices as you see speakers on them...just a guess. Most of the Sathar appear very cautious near the group and you can tell that they have never seen anything like you before. After a few minutes, you see several cars approach and stop several meters from you. Four Sathar get out of the vehicles and walk your way. All four are armed with pistols.

Rick wonders aloud if we either got transported back in time to before the Sathar encountered the Frontier races or maybe these are a non-violent species of Sathar. Although the presence of pistols would argue otherwise. For now, Rick will simply observe though his weapons are never out of reach.

Daz will look to the scientists to see what they do. She can guess what is happening but doesn't want to escalate anything if she can help it.

You notice that all of the scientists except for J'Lan are very frightened and visibly shaking. J'Lan continues to try to communicate with the Sathar in front of him.

Rick hopes that J'lan is successful in negotiating some plan that will get us safely away from the Sathar.

T'prin keeps his weapon stowed, just watches the armed sathar.he will also say" professor J'lan, i don't know how you did this but if things go south your on your own."

Professor J'Lan looks to T'prin, "I am aware of our situation! I don't know what happened anymore than you do. I've asked one of my colleagues who knows more about this kind of theoretical stuff to come up with a hypothesis on what is going on. For right now, I'd suggest you curb any hostile thoughts as we are SORELY outnumbered."
As T'prin and J'Lan are going at it, you see a few Sathar pick lift up some devices and are pointing them at the group.

Daz will continue to appear calm and collected while realizing this situation could get dire quickly. She wasn't going to be the one to escalate anything.

They have a spaceport but seem like they have never seen races like us ,i don't recall a spaceport ruins where we were,we may have moved through space as well as time.

Rick will spend his time scanning around for any immediate threats or anything that looks out of the ordinary while the brainiac scientists try to figure out what happened. Rick's laser rifle is close but he will only use it if there seems to be an immediate threat where it is clear that the Sathar are going to attack.

Rick, Daz, and Tprin; all see the Sathar numbers are increasing. It started out with 50 or so and now there are probably over 100 near you now.

Rick will try to have everyone stay close together and be ready to quickly board the vehicles and try to get away if things go south.

This is getting more and more tenuous, were attracting a crowd,we need to use the vehicles and find some place where we can think without worrying about getting over run

Rick is at a complete loss as to where to go or how to proceed. He suggests that we all amble in the direction of the vehicles and then see if we can find a way to at least get away from the Sathar without a pitched battle.
