Not at all! The forums are always here. Time for herding friends together for a table game ... not so much.

Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Agreed, getting together with friends in person is priceless.

Golgarth and Cosmo need a copy of the map from Alastar's skin, unless his bubble bath washed it off.I have updated all threads bar the festival which I will do later.
Let me know if any questions, actions or research has been overlooked or unanswered.
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Yes, absolutely. Another on my to do list!
Please do remind me folks, anything missed or unanswered, I will attend to them over the next few days and clear the slate by the weekend.
I might be away from next Monday for a couple of days so I will update every thread before then to give you all lots to search through, act on, attack at or save from.

Spearmint, I will keep you in mind during my daily prayers for health and those that are in need of a speedy recovery.

Hope everything goes well. Good luck.
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Thank you. I was dosed out with a bag of extra platelets and nurses wiping my fevered brow and feeding me tea and biscuits.
My blood pressure still stays averaging 95/65 which they say is low (on average) but has been consistently that for a few years. It does rise, usually when my horses fall at the first or last fences.
I am supposedly 'recuperating' with a trip to Blackpool Illuminations and some tacky vaudeville shows, candy floss and ice cream on the beach with the grandkids and a walk along the pier.

Glad to know you are still okay.
Sure those characters being eaten by zombies would love some extra platelets right now.
The more I read the threads, the more I think lots of mini expeditions and levelling up is needed as I would expect to face bigger threats than zombies and skeletons eventually. Though they are relatively 'weak' as monsters with average AC and hp, if you get into close combat then even 'low challenge' critters are devastating.

Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Unfortunately the DMG attack matrix for monsters includes goblins, orcs, humanoids, etc so at low level even relatively small threats are dangerous.
So planning and tactics, even retreat are all wise moves. It is incumbent upon players to know what is in their inventory as often their characters have very useful items which could aid them in time of need but these are often overlooked.
Also consider stuff like flanking and rear attack bonuses, extra buffs for fighters and thieves such as dual wielding in melee or using the shield bash manoeuvre.
Resource management too. Investing in 1st Aid 'spider silk' Kits, holy water, anti-venom potions, sourcing Hurtloam, herbs and funghi that augment health or abilities. Admittedly these are no all on demand items, but judicious use can ease problems. In this game, time is not your enemy unless you are on negative hp.

Ok, just read about your surgery and I'm glad to read that it ended up well.
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Thank you.
I could recommend the blood donor service for Dougal, Moriartus, Cadeweed, Two-Birds, Marcel & Rickford too.

That was amazing. I thought our characters were definitively out. Right in the last moment!

I'm in middle of moving still so I will not be on the forums that much until after the 29th of November.

Me too, I thought we were toast.
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Hey, sorry for my absence. Due to some unexpected changes out here in the "real world," I will be unable to post for a couple of weeks. Apologies to those on missions with me. Please NPC me or whatever you need to do.

I'm back after my move just playing catch up on many things at this point.
