Thanks for the explanation, and the patience with the newbie. Your rules post makes sense, it'll take him two phases (well, 1.6 rounded up) to reach the roof.

2 phases is correct, but there will be up to 6" more of movement possible as well. (Horizonal most likely like flying out the building or back over the edge at the roof)

Correction - On the kitchen side (the pool is the sixth floor), so you would only have to get up 5 stories.

That's fine. With Wind Dragon on the roof, the kitchen is the next best access point to outside and the sky (unless he throws himself out of a window) and covers the basement entrance too. It's also a distinct entry point if they decide not to attack from the sky.

Dos Seso will wait until just before the time of the meeting and move to the closest stairway up to the upper floors. Once the parties have begun their movement up the elevators, he will go up the stairs to the 6th floor. While in the stairwell, he will have Out of Sight, Out of Mind running and keep his speed down to 2 until action is called for.

The Arrival

7:58 PM Local Time – Tuesday, June 16th, 1987
The Vice-President Bush, three aides and two agents arrives via the front entrance to the Southern about 7:56 PM in three black limousines. About 10 seconds after the VP is in building the cars drives away. The VP and his aides are quickly taken across the 1st floor, he is not interfered with. All of the agents on patrol (and Azir) are in the lobby when the VP arrives.
Agent's Andy and Bill stay with the VP in the elevator, but Agent Carrie and Azir stay in the lobby. The agents that arrived with the VP stay in the lobby. Azir wonders if he has seen those limos before.
About 2 min later the limousines return to the front of the building, scratch that this time there are four limousines.
The Prime Minister of Canada gets out of the lead limousine, with three aides of his own and with his four guards moves into the building.
Agent Carrie says to Azir in a quiet tone, "I going up with the PM - are you joining me?"
Dos Seso watches the scene with a slow heartbeat as the VP arrives and then the PM from near the lobby stairs. He is getting ready to walk up the stairs.
Wind Dragon has not seen any of this as he is on the 6th floor.
Eclipse is guarding the kitchen, rear exit and basement.

Please confirm Eclipse when you move to the kitchen if the back door is open and you are looking out, or the door is closed with you on the inside. It was unclear to me. I assume that you meant closed, but I would rather not assume.

He will keep the door closed, as he wants to stay as hidden as possible at this stage. He's assuming the agents on the roofs have a decent view of the back of the building.

So here is the situation, Azir is directly viewing and Wind Dragon is looking at an extreme angle at the VP, PM and the rest of the group. Dos Seso has gone to a southern facing window. Eclipse is on the ground floor. I have placed you all on the map.
Dos Seso sees some red and yellow lights for a moment to his left. Azir, Wind Dragon and Dos Seso hear pop that sounds like someone stepping on a bag of air (like what you could get in a package). Then some yelling in Chinese and a contained explosion.

Roll [_3d6]=(6+4+3)=13 - This one will be for initiative (this phase you are basically competing against Dos Seso - the 6 (first number) means you are very likely to go first
Roll [_3d6]=(4+1+6)=11 - You OCV is a 6, -1 for a half move and +1 for your skill level gives you an OCV of 6. A roll of an 11 means that you hit a DCV of 6 or lower. This is good enough to smack your target.
Roll [_3d6]=(4+6+2)=12. Here is where it gets crazy. This an 11d6 attack. Please be sure to do the _11d6 as we will need to compute STUN and BODY
Roll [_3d6]=(5+1+3)=9 - This is for your knockback, if you look back in my note this is 2d6. Since you have "_" I will use the 5+1=6 for this roll. I cannot tell what it means for sure until the third step is completed, but you are going to like it I think.
