I'm sorry he notes but the officers want me to go find the bits that fell of your hull before they hit the ground and become useless for intel. - We can lend you tools and spares where we have them, but I will need you to sign a chit or I'll be docked for the losses!

Zid looks shocked But this whole ship is a crime scene - how are you going to prosecute if you don't secure evidence?. The officer looks at Zid like she's on a different planet That''s way above my pay-grade. Got to go!

"We may need a tug, or we might be the next piece of debris to hit the station," Indrani replies. "I don't know if we can effect enough repairs to navigate." She turns to Zid. "You may gather as much evidence as you can right now, but please be aware that the ship isn't safe at the moment. There could be sudden depressurizations, or even live ordinance lying around. Be careful."

As they meet Reven, she winks and remarks. "Nice flying. Are you ok?"

She is not used to such maneouvres. It may take time before I can convince her it was you, Reven, and not me who threw her around so cruelly.
Seriously though, Reven, you did a fine job, flying blind and steering by engines.

When everyone is on the passenger deck, Indrani begins. "We have a lot to do, so I will be brief. Pranit, we're flying without any controls right now, and the ship is even more damaged. Take everyone; get control of the ship and start a damage assessment. Tibbs and I will deal with the authorities. Any questions?

"I welded the lift door shut, so no one got into engineering. It was secure down there, but i think i'll have to look into installing some backups down there for the future."

"Oh, don't tell Hoshiko! She'll never let me pet her again."

"First time flying blind. I gotta tell you, i didn't like it. Might have to rethink how exposed the cameras are."

Nālani adopts an offended expression, but keeps her voice low:
If the Navy wanted it they should have caught the pirate before I had to. It is legitimate salvage, and nothing to do with them. So hide it well.

Nālani smiles: She would never believe you could do anything bad to her. She might exact a blood price on the first part of the world she can get her claws on though, so I would wait a day before trying to pet her.

I know a little of computer systems, and sensors, somewhat less of comms. Shall I try to jury-rig the severed connections and make the bridge functional?

Reven Stiilpahth "I just have to get my tools." Reven ducks into his room to grab his toolkit and heads back out. He pauses in the doorway, sets the toolkit down, pops back inside, and returns with his laser pistol and blade strapped around his waist. He picks up the toolkit(s) and follows the XO.

"Thanks people, i'm gonna check my combat patch.

Pranit will check the seal to make sure it will hold for at least a day and them assist the two more mechanic oriented crewmen.

While Pranit checks his seal Nālani starts work on the panels, hoping that the apparent accuracy of the shots will mean minimal damage and a quick fix:

We are lucky, the team that did this were professionals. Accurate shots, no unnecessary damage. I can take parts from workstations, replace what is destroyed. I suggest we use Gunnery and Navigation, I doubt we are fighting or travelling far at present. I will start with Gunnery. If we really need the turret I am sure the controls in it will serve.

She makes a quick survey of the Crew Deck, and notices the remains of the coffee maker.
Number one is a new coffee maker. If nothing, for morale. After that, a survey of each deck for damages.

Pranit will use his Electronics (sensor) as a +1 for just straight electronics (I think it works that way) + INT:

The electronics experts quite quickly get the power restored to the network. The post-restart checks though show something odd...There seems to be an attachment to the main data feed into the computer. It's got its own power supply and definitely isn't something Nālani or Pranit recognise as being part of the normal circuitry...

...Meanwhile, The Navy have made their exit and have taken off not only the two drivers, but also Ulrika and Tibbs! Zid has decided to stay as she still needs to talk to the crew - although the recent attack does make getting the crew's attention tricky. So she offers to help with the tidying.
