Very nice. Norfolk, the county is completely flat, will be under water when the ice cap melts. Area very green, lots of farms (especially Turkeys), lots of countryside and the tidal Norfolk Broads are pretty sailing areas. Not far from coast and miles of sandy beaches. The county have a regiment the Royal Anglians and the states have an airforce base close by so you might have to lock her away from all these tall handsome uniformed guys swanning around at the weekends. The Cathedral in Norwich is very impressive.UEA in Norwich.
Though the locals are regarded as country bumpkins who speak with a funny accent.
It also has some of the very best horse racing at Newmarket where the top trainers stable the pedigree champions.

Eldon seems to be adapting nicely, so if this falls through, he can accompany the crazed priest expedition. Sven and Company will set out as assembled.torkill wrote: ↑Sun Sep 05, 2021 4:59 pmEldon enjoys the stories about the men's excavations and discoveries. "Seems a solid strategy to avoid the nighttime in the Moors. Seeing that you are down a man, perhaps I could join you on the next expedition. Is it just the two of you? Maybe we should recruit a few more because I keep hearing tales of those once thought dead coming back for what is theirs."Spearmint wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 12:38 am The Brazen Strumpet Tavern
Eldon chats with the drinkers. They share bizarre stories of going to the Moor and back, each day excavating a little more. Each day trying to plunder a tomb then return before nightfall. More dangers lurk under the moon, more dangers awaken to prowl. Then they found a crypt and entered below, sneaking around. Stumbling in the dark, sometimes the wind blew out their torches, hearing noises, whispers enticing them onwards. Always the 'watchers in the dark' followed their movements. One comrade died, they covered his body with stones but the next day he was lurching after them. He didn't know he was dead and wanted to come back with them but they killed him again. Eldon to continue

First order of business on our walk will be to come up with a party name.
Sven and Co. just isn’t doing it for me.
Doesn’t exactly ring fear in the hearts of our enemies.

Stirling did suggest the 'expedition of certain death"
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
We do take a lot of interest in the items and scriptures we find in the barrow. A more serious suggestion might be simply The Loreseekers
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
Not sure the Loreseekers works for Orgoth who has below average Int and Wis. Can't think of anything right now.
Re: OOC: out of character comments and questions).
A couple of ideas.
The Order of the Crossroads
The Lucky Company

"I am wondering what it would take to change this bright white coat I am wearing to a bit less noticeable color. Maybe a dark green purplish black?"

Hey guys this weekends has been a whirlwind with getting my daughter off to the UK. We just got back from the airport, so will get caught up and see if Eldon can't wiggle his way in to one of the expeditions about to head out.
@Spearmint thanks for the info on Norwich! I be sure to tell that her to look out those pesky military boys. They might prove to be useful for her to keep up with her kung fu training while away... give em a little surprise. lol
