Get better Hedge your health is top priority.

Hey man as I posted in my game my pc at home has been down until today because the misses decided it was randomly time to move the entire house around so carpets could be cleaned which happens tomorrow. I can't wait for that shit to be done lol.

That and I am in the middle of a very rough release and anyone who does IT QA will tell you those can suck your soul away. I think I am starting to ease up a little bit now but please push me forward if you ever need to I never want to hold us back.

Posting my actions now my apologies for the hold up.

Shit happens to us all, brother > just gotta wade through it! :P

Wearing a halter monitor that records my heartbeat plus any anomaly - it's a 24-hour thing, so it comes off today around 2:30. Thanks for all the well wishes fellers!

Just for informational purposes... it looks like AQ hasn't logged into the forum even since last Saturday (24th). No notes on any games of his (played or run) about an extended absence, that I could see.

So might be better to NPC him for a week and hope its just a temporary thing...

After what I read this morning in his DCC game, I agree. He also posted last Saturday that work was hectic and to push the game along without him if need be.

Is it the weekend yet? Please God tell me it is!! :)

Happy to get out two posts this morning and happy to add that we will have a new player (a regular around this forum and over on DF) joining up early next week.
No word from Belkregos or rtdersch or AQuebman > I know Ray said he'd be out until at least October, but the other two seem to have just disappeared.

That means Cole and Nokrugh are on hold in Grunwald, and I am running Oggle as an NPC...but hopefully not for long.

Time for some yard work today and some football and maybe even a visit to the beach - hope everyone has a great weekend!

Hmmm I am in a roleplay crisis here. Darkstar is neutral aligned. In this encounter I don't think he feels any cause to fight the giant. He has not been spotted and therefore does not have to act. I don't want to get anyone else killed but at the same time I don't want to compromise what my character would do.

Neutral aligned doesn't mean you don't support your teammates. If Darkstar backs out of this, Tarrin is going to be furious.

But in fairness starting a fight with a giant isnt lawful good behavior is it?

He's playing his character (and developing more and more of a personality) - let's see how it plays out IC. Good job, fellers!

Taking on personal risk to prevent injury to the greater world absolutely is lawful good. Because you know that giant is going to grow up to kill people, and can kill people now (and is more than likely to have already killed people).

(Real quick, Hedgeknight, what kind of damage should I roll for these? Didn't know if it should be more, considering the current size of the arrows, so I thought I would check with you before I rolled anything. Also... a natural 20 on an incapacitated foe? Maybe a ranged coup de gras? :D )
Not sure of the ruling on this > any suggestions from the group?
As for a ranged coup de gras on a giant...nah, not today. But good try > maybe put an eye out or something with that natty 20 ;)

Apologies fellers for not posting in three days > without a doubt this has been the worst start to a school year in my 19 years of being a school counselor. Get home exhausted both mentally and physically. I logged in last night to catch up the threads and fell asleep while I was pondering Alethan's query.
Hopefully will get things back up to speed this weekend.
