Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
"I know I missed the last of the battles but none of the armor or arms I can use, perhaps the boots?" Del speaks up from her position.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
The armor already sized for a dwarf appears to fit quite well. If Egon were a more rotund dwarf the armor would be ill fitting.

Egon
Egon will see if the Elven boots fit and if they make his walking quieter. "Maybe these are those Elven boots I have heard of that make anyone sneaky."

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
The boots appear to be a bit larger than the dwarf's feet more like they would fit a taller being. Though a bit big for Egon they do make his footfalls silent until one of the boots slips off.

Egon
"I think these are Elven boots, but they don't fit me."
He will check out the medium shield next. "This could be handy."

Xlore
Listening to Egon the High Elf nods "The boots would be more appropriate for me, I'll gladly take them instead of the sword." said Xlore. Carefully putting the boots on Xlore brushed off any dirt or dust off with the back of his hand, standing up the High Elf walked normally in a small circle feeling for any discomfort. After feeling satisfied, Xlore started to walk more cautiously with a slow heel-to-toe movement of his feet. Noticing the boots made his steps quiet pleased the High Elf. "Yes, I do like these boots quite nicely!" exclaimed Xlore.

Elanriel
Elanriel watches her companions sifting through the various items. Like Delsenora, many of them are of limited use to her.
"Maybe, I could take the thword if you're taking the bootth, Xlore?" she suggests. It is one of the only items that she feels could really benefit her. "What about the ring Del?" she suggests. "Ith that thomething you could uthe?"

Walking in the boots you find your footfalls are dead silent.

Xlore
Nodding his head in agreement the High Elf responded to Elanriel "Yes, I believe the long sword will be more suited for you than I. I'm going to keep the boots."

Elanriel
At Xlore's agreement and assuming none of the others disagree or intervene, Elanriel picks up the long sword and tests its weight and balance. Slightly self-consciously, she looks along the length of the blade to check the edge is true, and then slashes the weapon through the air forehand and backhand a couple of times to get the feel of it. She is careful to make sure that nobody is in the way while she does.
So, now Xlore has the boots and she the long sword. Egon seems interested in either the Dwarven armour or the shield. Depending on which he chooses, six items remain. She wonders what the others will claim.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Elanriel finds the blade very well balanced, the edge is true and very sharp for something just left sitting in a basement. It even feels as if you might be able to hit things a little better than with the average sword.
Egon finds that the shield is a bit lighter than the average make shield and it feels somehow stronger, same can be said for the dwarven plate it's lighter, and feels tougher. But then again it is of dwarven make.

Elanriel
Elanriel cocks her head to one side, considers for a moment and then shrugs. "Well, I don't uthe a thhield and the armour lookth ill-fit for anyone elthe," she acknowledges.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Examining the Wand Weston finds the word "Shazbot" carved into the wand in common and elven.

Re: Chapter 5: Harvest of Death
Weston thinks to himself "Shazbot, what kind of word is that?"
He puts the wand down "There is a word on the wand, maybe the activation key. Does Shazbot mean anything to anyone?"
