No worries Just seemed like your action would be a bit obvious so I posted to keep the pace going. Is there anything else you wanted to do in the previous round?

Lionel will check on the women, making sure they are ok, especially the brunette who seemed to suffer a nasty ankle injury a few moments ago. Can you walk? Do you need me to carry you, or help you down the stairs? I feel bad for leaving you behind. I'm real sorry, ma'am. My momma raised me better than to treat a lady like that.
The witches for the most part seem okay, if tired and a few looking battered.
The Brunette shoots Lionel a look. I can manage just fine th.... her retort is cut off as she takes a step and winces, but she is caught by a couple of her sisters. She looks put off but looks away.
"Yes, who needs help? That thing was nasty, tossed me around like a toy and I ain't no light weight."
Rex, same roll please.
Mac will remember there were the three witches they found on the floor of the hall downstairs each of which seem to have some visible bruises coming up. There was also Jessica (the redhead) that was tossed about in the room by the poltergeist.
Roy looking at the traps "Are we sure our containment can hold these they are far stronger than the other ghosts we've captured so far."

Seeing the brunette stumble as she attempts to walk, Lionel reaches out to catch her and stops short as her sisters grab her. No offense, ma'am, but I've seen injuries like this. Now that the adrenaline has worn off, you're not gonna be able to put any weight on it. And, not sayin' you're weak, ladies, but you're gonna have a real hard time gettin' her down those stairs. Let me carry you. Please. It's the least I can do to apologize and thank you.

Uhh, thats concerning. What do you think Joker, we can get it back to the main containment grid that should hold it, right?
Joker Yes, I believe so- and we should still have a few hours safety time before the batteries are drained. Joker doesn't sound convinced- even to himself.
He begins running calculations- thoughlessly jotting notes on the wall as needed- trying to get a "worst-case" scenario/timeline.
taking the family to the Ren Fair in Oklahoma,
and there is a lot to resolve in the next post. I'll try to get it out either late tonight or early Monday.

Lionel gives the brunette Elizabeth a good look over with a trained eye from all the health classes and years of exposure (not to mention experience) with injuries. He can see her ankle is swelling up fast, and he is 100% right that as her adrenaline is running out and the pain is about to set in in a big way. He also notices she is still favoring her one hand. He can remember when she has screamed after casting, that was when he saw her begin cradling it. When she reaches out to her sisters for help balancing, he sees that hand. It looks withered, as if it belonged to someone decades older.
She is gritting her teeth and about to shoot another tongue lashing Lionel's way when her sisters cut her off and begin urging her to accept his help down the stairs. She rolls her eyes and mumbles something before holding out (The non-injured) hand to him for help down the stairs.
Mac scans the crowd of witches and sees the number of bruises and other smaller injuries among them. Not the least of which is the redhead they initially met, Jessica. She is standing up straight and speaking with the others but he can see she is struggling a bit with her breathing. When he offers to help her, he instinctively reaches out to her and she takes a hissing breath and pulls away from him.
One of the other witches looks up. Broken ribs.
Jessica waves him off. It's fine... just need some time to heal... we need to find the fetish that the warlock left behind... a felactory of some sort... it has to be hidden her somewhere... Jeniveve said it was up here in the attic somewhere...
Another witch chimes in: We got rid of the poltergeists... isn't that enough for now? Can we come back later after everyone has recovered?
Kelly the green haired witch retorts softly: Do you want to tell Gloria we put it off when we were right here?
That seems to steel everyone into action and the remaining witches fan out looking around the 3rd-floor area, several of them going out into the hall finding a bathroom and more than a few calling out that they found an attic area.
Roy, Jason, & Joker notice the drain on the trap holding the last poltergeist and begin speculating not only how long the battery can hold out but whether or not the containment unit itself will be able to hold it. The three tech-heads consider their knowledge of Containment and it is more than reasonable that it should be able to contain the entity. The original containment unit still in operation at Firehouse 0 in New York contains no less than 19 known demigods who also proved very draining on the more portable traps, not the least of which were some know as The Stay Puffed Marshmellow Man, Samhain, The Bird of Killdarby, and other exceptionally powerful ghosts. Their newer tech should be fine.
One of the witches calls out that they think they found something from the northeast side of the attic area, whereas some others in the southern portion start calling out that something is wrong.
That is the moment that the team hears their PKEs begin sounding an alarm as the PKE readouts suddenly spike once more. The temperature drops dramatically; much more than it has until now. Everyone can see the moisture in the air suddenly freeze and fall to the ground like a flash-frost. The windows crackle with ice that forms on them, obfuscating anything outside other than the sounds of wind and thunder. Even the walls and ceiling begin to frost over.
Something is here.

"Hearing the conversation about the containment system and the trap followed by multiple alarms, loudly "Get that trap to containment and someone grab more traps, I will try and hold it off."
Tossing the Ecto keys to Jason, Someone needs to get those traps back to the house. Take the Ecto- go full lights and sirens! Looking at Elizabeth, he asks, I'll get you downstairs if you still want to go, but something tells me you want to stay up here now, don't you? Either way, he'll gently scoop her up and carry her wherever she wishes to go.

Roy"I'm not one to take charge but a few of us should get these traps back to containment, someone else either needs to get the injured to the hospital or if someone with magic can heal them then we need to do that. As for the house we probably should see if we can clear it entirely with help from our witch friends."

She didn't expect to be picked up like that, but she doesn't hesitate to point to the door leading to the attic space. Damn straight. That way.
Easy Muscule >5 to make sure you keep your balance. If it were just her, it would be automatic, but I think with your pack and equipment, it is enough Lionel would need to be mindful of small adjustments, even if she is rather lightweight.
His eyes flash over the readings and the environment, Joker get those taken care of an head back cuz there but I think the rest of us should brace ourselves.

Lionel picks up Elizabeth who reluctantly accepts the help but directs him to the attic area to the south where her sisters are calling for help, which is also where the team can see the PKE spike is coming from.
Mac & Joker continue to discuss getting traps to the containment ASAP.
Jessica moves with the rest of her sisters to the PKE source in the attic area to the south.
Kelly looks at Roy briefly before following her sisters. You're a believer... I think I like you.
Jason looks over the readings from the PKE and tries to reason what he is seeing with what he knows from his studies and remembers something he read a long time ago that until now seemed perhaps unrelated, but now makes sense. Warlocks were known more or less as male witches, which is a bit of a misnomer, but the part he remembered that really distinguished them was their willingness to draw in energy while putting out very little if any of it back in return. With what Jason is seeing, all the thermal energy is being drawn into one point to their south in the attic area and concentrating there.
Map:
All the witches have moved to the south end of the Attic area. There is a concentrated point in that area absorbing energy not unlike how the greater poltergeist was when it did the big breath attack on your earlier, but this seems to be on a much larger and wide-reaching scale.

Roy smiles at Kelly "Why yes I'm a believer most of my study knowledge is in the occult. Plus please don't think less of me but I do enjoy D&D, so I've got a bit of an imagination and belief of magic."

The big Ghostbuster is easily able to carry the slender witch, despite the load on his back. He brings Elizabeth to the southern area of the attic, going to whatever spot she directs him. He continues to hold her unless she wishes otherwise.
Overhearing the conversation between Roy and Kelly, he can't help but give a quick tip. Hey, Roy, you may wanna avoid mentioning nerd games when you're talking to the ladies. You'll never have game with that game. The big grin on his face shows that he is able to find humor and fun even in tense situations like the current one.
