You're getting old, Hedge. Stretching is a form of physical therapy. Try it some time (when you get strong enough to handle a light routine).

Had a very long conversation with my doctor on Thursday.
We talked pain management (the first line of defense) and I shot that down faster than knocking a squirrel out of a tree. Those fuckers love to stick you...and stick you...and stick you some more while they search for the "exact" spot where the pain is. I KNOW WHERE THE FUCKING PAIN IS!!
So, I asked for a second opinion and a referral to Chapel Hill (in Raleigh, NC). He was happy to begin working on the referral. May need an updated MRI ($1200+) but I'll do it to get the ball rolling.

He also said to not return to the chiropractor for awhile. No need to aggravate anything at this point.
We talked about gentle yoga...and he's not the first to talk to me about that. Just very basic yoga at this point.
I used to do yoga regularly years ago and it was wonderful for my back, legs, neck, etc.
So, instead of paying for a chiropractor to make matters worse, I'm going to ease back into yoga, and do a lot of walking > I have to get moving.
A sedentary lifestyle is killing me.

Oh, and I'm out of bourbon....
Need to make a run :)

Dude Hedge, sorry to hear about the back pain. When I had back injuries ice was the only thing that got me through. Good luck brother!

Thanks Doug > ice has helped a bit. Stretching and rest more so. A work in progress.

On a good note, bringing one more player into the mix, giving us four new players!
This is another great gamer from my long-running 1E game of which alchemy has been there since the beginning!

[1d20+5]=14+5=19 NICE!

To clarify, Ostis is attempting to grab the boy.
This made me laugh...a lot.
Well, you grabbed him! Now what? :D

I am figuring that Ambergris has entered the Elfsong at 1.20pm after the fight ended but all the encounter with Lesh and Tarina is going on upstairs in the tavern so I am unaware of happenings save for the overheard words from the fleeing crew.

It's funny, all the talk about Hedge's back, and the various therapies that are available, Super Hot water is the only thing getting me out of bed at this point. I will say on the pain scale, I'm sitting at about a 5. Two days ago I was sitting at a 10 (or an 11 if you like spinal tap). Literally was face down on the bathroom floor. I cried out with every spasm. Never had anything like that before. Ever. It was crazy.

Anyway, good health all. I'm going for a sedate walk around my block.
