Noor awakes in a bunk. Not the most luxurious bed she has woken in, and definitely lacking in room service.

The day starts with the morning news feeds updating on the phones and the hull welding job calling to the mechanics. And a police visitation on its way and the enigma of the Computer core.

The day starts with the sound of Miya and Bhekumbuso discussing the relative merits of spacing various band's Holo-Artists - they appear to have a fairly main-stream taste in track-related Holo-Art. Hoshiko is uninterested in such discussions and clearly feels that needle-like claws applied to the chest of the sleeping owner is the only sane way to get food.

Morning sees Tiberius seeing Indrani’s message from last night on his phone…
"Report back to the ship immediately. Will explain in person."
And his reply is sent…
"Mr O'Hare will arrive when shortly."

and from Nālani
Reply: Thank you. Unfortunately I was the subject of the scuffle, which is temporarily resolved. Tomorrow is another matter, I have to get from hotel to ship, with luggage.

You wanted transport. I have a bike - too small for your luggage. The Hotel could arrange a taxi. Or we could send your luggage separately.

Pranit will slowly get out of bed, testing his arm and finding it better.
*I should be out of the splint today.*

He heads out to the table and has a striped copy of the repairs and begins to send out for quotes for repairs.

You wanted transport. I have a bike - too small for your luggage. The Hotel could arrange a taxi. Or we could send your luggage separately.

Nālani gathers her wits.

Ah, sorry. A bike? Thank you. But arranging taking my things comes first. I will see them off, we can follow.

My bill is covered until the end of the week, we ought to order breakfast before I leave.

Nālani organises a vehicle capable of transporting her wardrobe and gadget collection.

Indrani takes a shower and dresses in a jumpsuit for the day. She steps out and sets to preparing breakfast for herself and the others.

Reven Stiilpahth, hearing the morning noises, groggily rouses and dresses. Blinking awake, he quickly grabs his comm and calls Nālani.

She gets up, showers, and gets dressed. First comes "coffee," before engaging in higher brain functions.

"So what is the work schedule for today? " he asks over breakfast. There are still several areas of the ship that need addressing before it obtains its temporary flight worthiness. So what do we prioritise?

"Morning Captain, if you don't mind. I was going to send out the specs for contractors to do the work so it can be directly authorized, but given the idea that we are being targeted, would you like the supplies delivered so we can do the work ourselves?"

Queen: I would suggest that the most urgent task is the crack in my hull. All that needs is hull-plate, welding equipment and paint

Indrani Carter . He reads the message. Blunt and direct. He responds with a reply, "Mr O'Hare will arrive when shortly." He thinks of the bomb scare, assuming the summoning is related to that.

Ngora Kole. He determines that if he can conclude his reconciliation attempts that would serve the best use of his morning. He takes a cab over to her apartment or suite.

Indrani glances up at the overhead. "Yes, Hun, we will get your hull fixed." She turns to Arnwulf and the group at large. "Our priority is to make the Queen ready to move under her own power. Pranit will hand out the work assignments. We not only have the hull crack to repair, but we also have to bring the Number One power bus back online, and ensure that we're otherwise ready to maneuver. Once those are covered, then we can get back to the other tasks we've started."[\dialog]

The sounds of the crew moving about wake her. She sighs as she looks through her meager things for something new to wear, and eventually makes her way up to deck 2. How repaired are all the decks now?

"Ah, Captain. Good morning. Everyone." She looks around at the groggy crew gathered around waiting for coffee.

"Pranit! What happened to your arm? Let me take a look at it."

"I found some information on the company last night. They have an address here on Sparks." Noor fills in anyone interested with what she found last night.

"Ah, Captain. Good morning. Everyone." She looks around at the groggy crew gathered around waiting for coffee.

"Pranit! What happened to your arm? Let me take a look at it."

"I found some information on the company last night. They have an address here on Sparks." Noor fills in anyone interested with what she found last night.

Pranit's shoulder is a yellowing bruise - substantially better than it was. No further endurance penalties. Noor realises that the ships supply of medical equipment is nil - even the little box of pain-killers that Pranit bought with the crew life-support refresh is gone. There's no Medikit, not even basic first-aid equipment and no drugs! Pranit's sling is an improvised affair.

"I was handed a missile and I missed the hand off, I've been like this for about 3 days, its feeling so much better today.

So much has happened since that chance meeting, the old crew hired me, I'm the XO.

If you excuse me I have to get some quotes for materials.

Pranit will put out request for parts and supplies to local supply shops and ask for quick turn around.

Nālani, inured to being woken by claws, feeds Hoshiko and retreats to the bathroom. A little later she emerges in a blonde wig shorter than her natural hair and more obvious make-up than normal. No time for a proper makeover, but this might do.

Would you mind helping me take these things down to the vehicle? Then I think I will take up your offer of a ride on your bike. gesturing to the Vacc-rated cat carrier Do you think Hoshiko can come too?

Hoshiko is not luggage, she does not travel in vans.

Well - I've been up all night and may not be at my best. And we will need to get past the watchers - Is Hoshiko likely to appreciate my dodging? Perhaps Bhekumbuso could be trusted with guarding her - and getting her to your ship?

Bhekumbuso doesn't look displeased.

And where will you be headed? There are two points of greatest danger, I think - Here and the Corridor to the Ship. Away from that, if we keep moving, keep out of Casa Esperança and don't advertise we should be safe.

Nālani smiles: I think Hoshiko would enjoy more time in Bhekumbuso's company. They are friends now, I think.

The smile fades: Getting past the watchers is why I ask for your help. I need to get to the Queen, yes, but I also need to visit Yaoley. I do not ask you to take me there, but your advice would be welcome. I am not used to needing to know gang territories or how to avoid assassins.

As Tiberius stands on the steps of the Hotel, waiting for the Doorman to open the door of the taxi, he notices a large man approaching:

Mr O'Hare - I'm Inspector Jai Madhri of the Sparks Police. I hope you might come to the station with me.
