Keg

Howls in rage as the net falls upon him and tears at it wildly: He then takes aim and fires upon the nearest enemies swarming them, letting out a stream of curses that would make an orc blush.
Here's a question. One of the riders was killed, right? Did his mount then fly away or is it still a threat?

Keyon

The young thief will press himself into his hiding place and waits until one swoops close or falls to the ground, daggers gripped tightly.

(I'll hold my attacks until one comes close and, if they do, let fly with two daggers.)

Beware! That means you're gonna get a 1 and a 2 on the next round. This dice roller doesn't give anything for free.

Under The Scorching Sun (and nets)
Freeday, 26th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Hot, Sunny, Humid, Breezy

Shooting at moving aerial targets turns out to be not exactly the party’s forté.

The wasps swoop in again, tossing more nets onto Gnodric, Elnaerel, (Hard Str check to escape) and her shimmering archer. The latter is shed to the ground instantly, completely ineffective. While the others fire away aimlessly, Feanol catches two wasps that enter the range of her sleeping magic. Her spell casts two of the skinny riders into a deep slumber, causing them to tumble off the huge insects and plummet 40 feet to the rocky ground, killing them both on contact. The unaccompanied wasps fly off without their mounts, joining the first one who flew back towards the swamps earlier in the fight.

None of the groups return attacks hit their marks, which seems to invigorate the determination in the remaining nine buzzing adversaries.

TK’s fire making skills in the stiff breeze are going about as well as Max’s escape from his vine net. He can make one check each round.

The Knife

The Knife gives up on trying to light a fire. He remains in cover and watches the battle. Whispering "Come on! Come on!", The Knife very slowly draws a dart from the bandolier across his chest.

Keg yelling over his shoulder to the fraidy cats. SOUNDS LIKE A FINE JOB FOR A KNIFE!!!

He then turns back around and fires at the wasp riders again:

Keyon

(If my previous post is all Keyon can manage this round, that's cool. If he can pull off anything in this post, that's cool too. Forgot I'd already posted. )

The elf grins and sends them a friendly middle finger. "You didn't all have to stand in the open like a fat bullseye, did you? Clods."

(If the wasps come in range of his attacks, I'll use those two rolls I never got to use from the last round and attack.)

Otherwise, Keyon will dart toward Elnaerel and help cut her free of the net. "Had it been anyone but you," he says as he glances overhead to assure himself that no more nets are falling, "I'd have remained under cover." The beached pirate flashes his customary lopsided grin.

I apologize if the post orders are getting messed up because of something happening on my end. Things seem a little out of whack here, but I will continue doing what I can with my limited means. (Posting from my phone full time with limited connectivity is proving troublesome.)

Under The Scorching Sun
Freeday, 26th of Goodmonth
Mid Morning, Hot, Sunny, Humid, Breezy

As the others are helped out of their nets, Keg and Darklin continue firing at the strange looking wasp riders, dropping another and injuring 2 more. The shimmering goddess next to Elnaerel suddenly vanishes from sight completely.

Once this happens, a loud screeching is heard from the riders, causing the wasps to quickly rise higher into the air. They expand their circle even wider and appear about to fly off.

Parting shots can be taken at -2, if you like.

Actions?

Keg Woodwright AC1 11/13
Gnodric AC5 7/10
Darklin Sylvanas AC4 8/8 1/1 CL, DM, RM
Elnaerel AC3 7/10 1/3
Max AC2 8/8 CL 0/2 MU 1/1 CL, DM, RM
Feanol AC10 4/4 1/1 CL, DM, RM
The Knife AC4* 5/5
Keyon AC4 6/6

Gnodric

I'm assuming matching my strength on the check got him free. If not he'll continue to struggle with the net. [4d6]=14 vs 16 Str.

Arrow 1: [1d20+2]=1+2=3

Arrow 2: [1d20+2]=7+2=9

Frustrating shots made worse by my first roll hitting the Longsword macro in error and getting a nat 20.

Elnaerel

Elnaerel gets free of the net thanks to her kinsman. "Oh, thanks, Keyon. That's very kind." A bit of good humoured irony can be sensed in her tone accompanied by a faint smirk. She quickly gets her attention focused on their flying enemies before tempting a last shot at them.

Sling (stone) - To hit [1d20-2]=13; Dmg S/M/L [1d4]=4

As they leave, she also realises that the figure of her goddess has also left the place. She remains dumbfounded looking at where she was.

Keg

Angry as he is, he lets them go without firing another shot. He is already low on arrows and sees some of them will already be unrecoverable. He makes a gesture at them and walks over to one of the fallen as he recovers arrows to inspect him.

3 arrows out of 6 added back to inventory and encumbrance adjusted.

Any of you ever see anything like that before?

The Knife

The Knife comes out from behind his shelter, blushing slightly. "Sorry about that everyone. I was trying to get a fire started. Everybody knows that beekeepers control bees with smoke. I was trying to do the same thing. It's just too breezy." He looks at his tinderbox. "Or maybe my tinder is damp".

The Knife waves his hand after the departing wasps. "Never mind those things. Who was that Sparkly Lady?"
