Thorelf stands by as Tiny hacks one of the two remaining corpses, ready to pitch in if the corpse should rise.

Korin

beheads the remaining zombie in one go - it never had time to 'wake up'.

whereas

Tiny

did - technically - not manage to perform a beheading. The end result was the same all right, but the ghoul he targeted actually 'woke up' for an instant when attacked (as displayed by its shrunken festering eyes flickering open for a split second) - but was then crushed in a blink by the sheer force of Tiny's mammoth downwards strike.

These once in the past living, then dead, then undead, and until recently oddly dozing creatures are now no more. They have ceased to be! They've expired, kicked the bucket, and run down the curtain. They are ex-undead.

The double doors on the north wall creak open.

" 'allo 'allo 'allo! Wot's this then ?" a voice behind them speaks.

Actions!

Tiny

Tiny moves to position himself between the others and the voice. Once in position he stops and waits, sword at the ready.

Korin unsure of if the person the voice belongs to is evil or not attempts as best he can to scramble back into a hiding spot.

Thorelf lowers his sword and stands beside Tiny to see who's coming through the door.

"Let me do the talking, okay?"

Korin still attempting to hide nods his head maybe Thorelf can see it he isn't sure as he remains silent.

Someone appears in the double door opening. It's a male human, dressed in dark tunic and bandana, holding a sword. Sizing the adventurers up with sharp eyes, he continues:

"Oi! Clear off. You want the Svarts. Not here mate... that way."

He points down the eastern exit to the hall.

Behind him, more people become visible. Dressed similarly. With bows, and arrows. Aimed at you.

"Nothing to see here, guv. Just move along now, aw right? Shoosh!" he does an impatient 'move on' wave towards the direction he pointed at.

All their eyes are fixed on you - their bow strings are tightened just a little more....there is expectant tension in the air.

Korin stays where he is waiting for whatever Thorelf plans to say back to them.

Thorelf takes a symbolic step back and performs a quick bow, court style from his home city.

"Good day to you kind gentleman. The svarts, yes of course, we are on our merry way, but we were under the impression that they live over there?"

Thorelf points to the opposite direction, towards the "harbor" with the towers.

"But they do not?"

Arrows still pointed at you, but the man in the doorway turns down his aggressive tone somewhat - instead he turns a bit condescending:

"You Brahms and Liszt, or something ??? Svarts don't live anywhere. They're maraaaaaaaauuuuders, innit?"

again shoosh-waving you away from him he continues

"So you take my lump of ice mate, get on the ol' frog and toad, and 'op it!"

while

<swiiiiissshhhh>

an arrow suddenly whizzes past Thorelf's right ear and embedds itself with a <thung-g-g-g> in the wall over by the eastern opening - as if to emphasize the direction of travel the man thought you should take.

Tiny

Tiny glares at the man who has been talking. Not happy about the arrow stunt.

Thorelf keeps his posture and remains calm.

"Very well."

He waves for his companions to start walking towards the eastern opening.

As his party rounds the corner in the eastern opening, he turns back and addresses the man in the doorway.

"Be seeing you, huh?"

How many armed men/women, give or take, could Thorelf make out behind the leader? Like 2, 10, or 50?

Korin stays put until the others reach him and then he comes out of his spot and follows them.
