Re: In the Wasteland......
Pibbs -Mutant Hedgehog
Mr. Pibbs wanders over to the double doors with Norjax.
"It seems to me, my muscle-y friend, these doors have not been of much use to anyone of late. But, you never do know, do you?"
He gets on his knees to get his face close to the ground, no small feat for a 9' tall hedgehog, tilting his head this way and that, and snuffling, as his smaller, non-mutant brethren are apt to do, carefully examines the leaves and dirt etc. without touching it, looking for foot prints, signs of traps, etc.
How clearly can he see? Does he need additional light? If so, he'll call for Kapok to come over with his torch. But not before he tries to look through the dirty glass windows in the doors.

Is Kapok the only one with a light?
Mr. Pibbs thinks the door hasn't been opened in awhile. The dust & dirt on the windows don't let you see much. It looks like a looted store room. Empty shelves, some broken & tossed about.
Re: In the Wasteland......
Blixx-Mutated Human
Blixx attempts to practice his culinary arts on one of the spidergoats. "Hows about some roast spidergoat, I have some honey to marinate it" he looks about for some wood to create a make-shift spit.

Re: In the Wasteland......
Frank looks to rest a bit & make camp. As Blixx goes about cooking some spidergoat. The others look to investigate the rear double doors.
Mr Pibbs keeps getting distracted by the smell of food, he is famished.

Re: In the Wasteland......
Kapok, Mutant Plant
Kapok approaches the double-doors with his light source, if that helps the others with their search. He is also still weary of the ceiling and makes a point of periodically checking it to ensure they are not further surprised by any more spidergoats.

You see no more signs of creatures.
With Kapok bringing the torch, you confirm what you seen before.
From the small windows it looks like a ruined/looted storeroom. Rusted shelves, broken, some thrown in piles.

Mr. Pibbs - MA Hedgehog
I should like to investigate that room just to insure our safety for the duration of this rest. But, my heavens, what IS that heavenly smell?
Mr. Pibbs, noticing the delightful(?) aroma of the roasting spidergoats, looks at his two companions by the door and says, "If you fine, err, gentlemen? will excuse me, but that spider goat won't eat itself you know."
With a courteous bow, he snuffles his way over to the fire and politely asks for a serving of Blixx's wasteland cuisine.

Nor-jax, MA-Gorilla
Nor-jax presses his face against a dirty window of the double doors. He searches the storeroom for any large object, less than 130lbs, within 50ft. of the doors.

Lots of old rusty shelves seem to fit the bill. You choose one & concentrate(Neural Telekinesis).
Actions? ( Norjax mainly)
Re: In the Wasteland......
Nor-jax, MA-Gorilla
Nor-jax turns to face the party. “Idea have I,” he begins. “I will lift rusty shelf with mind force and let it crash to ground. See if anything gets nervous.”

Norjax concentrates and moves a rusty shelf with the power of his mind. He lifts it, then slams it down, then again. He then moves it around more......nothing moves in the room. Everything is quiet. It just seems like piles of old shelving. You see nothing else.

Re: In the Wasteland......
Blixx-Mutant Human
Blixx leaves the fire and food to the tender mercies of Mr. Pibbs and moves toward the ruckus of the partially concealed door. "Should we rest?" he asks "Or maybe start clearing all this rubble away from the door?" "Maybe something has survived the passage of time behind that door?"

Nor-jax, MA-Gorilla
“Frank-man is right,” says Nor-jax. “Rest we all need, so create no more disturbances.” He sits down in the middle of the floor, almost as if pouting.
OCC: Did Nor-jax notice any doors or windows in the storeroom?

You cant tell from outside the doors. You would have to go in with a light source to search around.
The only other thing is the pile of rubble against the wall.
Re: In the Wasteland......
Kapok, Mutant Plant
Kapok nods in agreement and puts out his torch to save the rest of it for later. Then he sits down around the camp fire and asks, "Should we determine shifts for keeping watch?"
It doesn't matter to him what watch rotation he is in, but with this many people, he suggests two people per shift.

“Kapok have right idea,” nods Nor-jax. "I take mid-night watch."

Re: In the Wasteland......
"I am an early riser, will take last watch if that works for you guys, i am getting some shut eye." Frank announces in his gravely voice, then rolls out his bed roll, and lays down... using his pack for a pillow... his weapos will be next to him, in easy reach...
