I don't see a task for Prerna's team - are we supposed to be back on the roof?

Yes, Jess is currently at the menders.
SHMC have suffered leadership casualties entirely consistent with being at the front!
Re: The Recon Team I believe there was a suggestion they should return there but I haven't seen an action as yet.
Happy to amend that via a comment here.

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
I was about to say yes, but then realised that Dog and Love are still south and Jess's crew are now there as well, so I think that Prerna's team are the only ones guarding the VIP area.

I know Jess isn't fit enough to fight, but I can't see her letting her squad go into action without being there. Putting on CA first might be a compromise.
Which room is the medbay, how far to Jess' official stateroom and how long to armour up?

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
The medbay is top left next to the Purser's office (HQ)
I thought you might say that, and it would be useful to have a PC there. I also need an officer to look after the HQ/diplomats, while Frank goes to get answers, that may have to be Prerna.

Thanks for the orientation, vertical text hid from me.

No worries.
Do we want to take advantage of the medivac?

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
So - Are we intending to sit in the tower or intercept these new arrivals outside and harass them as they arrive/disembark?
If we are staying in, has anyone checked that the invaders didn't contaminate the water supply?
The water supply is also the supply for the town. If we are besieged, the besiegers will need to supply the town somehow. The fact that they came in via the cisterns suggests that the cisterns are accessible from outside...So that may not be an issue unless we can find that access and block it.
And we still have no contact with the Guard. How is their officer corps doing? Knowing our luck, alive and scheming to blame us for the invasion!
Do they have any operational tanks? They could make a huge difference if they still have any runners.
If not, they need to commit to us for a siege or get thrown out without weapons. Something that looks knackered but is actually operational might give us an element of surprise.
If we are pulling out, those fighters are going to be an issue. Our shuttles are not going to get away easily.
What do our principles want? After all, they are paying.
Oh - And I'll use the cutters radio to confirm my orders...stay and support or cut and run before the place shuts down

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Once we have the garage under control and meet up with the guard, i.e. stabilise the situation, then we will have the breathing space to find out what the diplomats want to do, and hopefully some more information from Erica East. Resources are thin, so one thing at a time.
They are not bad questions, but we aren't in a position to have the answers right now.
If Freya leaves then we have no other pilot, you'll be stranding us here.

Let's not forget our gear - most of us started this fight in our sleeping clothes - such as they were...

Should Frank head down to assist at the Garage. Is Prerna happy to look after thing at HQ/VIP?

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Well, there are an unknown number of hostile sin the garage/hangar, another weapon might be useful. For now perhaps armouring up though? I doubt the new threat is in mufti.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Good idea. I've also had Frank head south to help out after. If something crops up while he is armouring up then he can change his plans.

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
How and when did they get there? I've just walked across it, twice, talking to your guys just fine! No mention of anyone.
Or am I the hostile now?
Or are we talking the Guard Garage?

Check back in the main thread (Thu Mar 04, 2021 9:36 pm) which was the second prompt when I thought you'd missed the first!
Quote: "Currently it appears that Freya has wandered into the cheap seats (restricted view) at a newly erupted firefight!
She is positioned just north of the entrance to the hanger deck catwalk.
The bad guys are in the hanger.
Oddly enough (due to the light) she is sure the external hanger bay doors are open!"

Quote: "[Freya] Arrives to see Dog covering the passage west and Love scoping out the interior of the hanger bay from the hatch leading to the catwalk. Love suddenly takes aim and fires into the hangar with her gaussrifle. She is hit by return fire and pitches forwards over the threshold of the hatch. Dog barges forward and fires a burst down into the hanger bay".
No worries now you are caught up - we live in crazy busy times!

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Wow - 35 posts including one from the shuttle in the hanger and no one pointed this out? Thanks guys. Well - I'd better see what I can notice.
Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
Yep. Maybe she can collect her and Erica's gear, too.

Re: "Endgame: OOC Planning Discussion"
I think most of your hard armour was either coming with you or ready to go.
If it was in the corridor where the melee happen its going to need a rinse!
Consider Prerna armoured up!
The (current) defending squad (Beau's / 1st) can also armour up (in shifts) so will be fully kitted out too.
NB The remains of Skip's duty squad are already armoured (Dog and Love) with Skip, Able and Ink wounded.
